The Story:
Marge (a very large) Satyric entity came along with her minions in an attempt to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting fella who soon learned what was really going on and he began a quest to regain the strongholds surrounding his life and ultimately his soul, pledging to pass along the knowledge to those that would listen as follow his decree of the new found group of resistance advocates. To this day the Satyr can be heard crying to her fellows; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. 

Production:
Gary and I get into a lot of interesting conversations about a lot of interesting things. Our latest tune is a case in point…and, pretty cool how it all came together.  A few days ago we had been discussing this topic again as things, sometimes, just come up as they are supposed to…I felt compelled to write just a few words…not thinking "lyrics"…just thinking "thoughts"…in that moment, I sent them to Gary…I had NO idea that he had just started working on a piece of music..and he thought these words may fit the vibe..so I continued on…and the lyrics were born. Gary came up with the awesome chorus lyrics and ALL of the vocal melodies.  He is truly, truly amazing when it comes to innovative music and the willingness and ability to step outside the box. He has no rules…he has no pre-conceived ideas or plans…he just goes with the flow…and I respect that much!!  I love (so much) his voice and his vibe..and I think his music and musical ideas are KILLER!  I am also forever grateful to him for continuing to push me outside of my comfort zone when it comes to vocals…he truly believes in my vocal abilities…and that means a whole lot to me :)  

We were both ready to do something a bit on the "heavier side" and this piece starts out just in that way…and then it takes a turn…we hope you enjoy the ride :)
