Confrontational verses and choruses invite self-reflection before an explosive end of pent up emotions that leads back to the start of a dreaded reality.

Rose of Jericho is a song about something daunting in your life that keeps coming back and you don't absolutely hate it. It's about the conflicting emotion one feels when they're in a love-hate relationship with something. For me that was my depression. The delivery of the song portrays the angst well.
