rsun (rachel sunter; r-sun) is a classical-pianist-turned-indie-producer who makes moody music on a laptop at home w her cats. drum loops, lush keys, alt-rock guitar and radioheady vocals deliver the ruminarions of a tomboy model music nerd w trauma in the bank.

Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.

Since 2006 cooperate in producing and remixing with House Music Artist: Dj Alfred Azzetto. Now producing regularly with some of the best labels of the House Music worldwide (Purple Music, Look At You, Rule 5, Atal Music, Reelgroove Uk, QPoint, Mood Funk, Monoside, Cruise Music, miniMarket, Reelhouse and more...) In August 2010 his single "Discofied EP" rised the top 5 and in Traxsource download chart, the song Discofied Funk was included by DJ Meme in the compilation "Defected in the House Brazil 11" and also in the Purple compilation "My boyfriend is out of town 3". Based in London, Alex Daniell is a French/British producer who's unique genre combines orchestral instruments with downtempo electronic beats to create a melodic blend of film score and deep electro music. Growing up in Paris, Alex started his electronic music journey with the likes of Daft Punk and Justice, artists that heavily influenced his own personal production at the time. Studying in the UK introduced him to a whole different scene, playing ethereal early morning sets supporting producers such as Isaac Tichauer and The Golden Boy, mixing a variety of genres ranging from dark techno to deep melodic house. Now, Alex draws his inspiration from artists such as Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Hiatus, Four Tet, and many more to create his own unique blend of orchestral sounds and electronic synths and percussions, deeply reflected in his debut album: Eternal Rays of Light. 

Currently releasing on Jean-Yann Records and Be Adult Music.
