[3FD004] Easy Touch x DJ I.D - Companion EP (Includes Remix from DJ Sports)

3FD004 brings together two friends from Denmark for a split EP built around UK bass sounds with strong dubstep and UK garage influences.
Easy Touch (JONGPADAWAN’s fresh new ID) starts off the A-side with “Aerosol”—the voodoo-ish windswept voicy lead and the italo-birds are singing along with the sleek 2-step beat and the slow resonating sub. A2 “Vertikal'' speeds up the intensity: the punchy drums combined with the powerful steady bassline are hitting us right where they should while the vocal sample and the stabs are spreading an euphoric groove.
On the flip side, DJ I.D transports us into his dark universe. With a rolling beat, a crispy snare, and roaring bassline stabs, the B1 “Just Let It Happen” inhales and exhales a mysterious energy. To close the EP, the Danish artist is remixing himself, combining the heavy drive of DJ I.D with the hearty touch of DJ Sports.

Kichi Kazuko is one of the representatives of the Kiev electronic scene, DJ, sound producer, promoter, and most recently the curator of the label. Kichi's real name is Inna.

Behind the fragility and charisma of this girl lies a love for the aggressive sound of techno and electro.
She began to realize her dream as a DJ in 2015 at the Cinema Club location. At the end of 2017, she founded the promo group United with like-minded friends who also love the sound of techno.
But Kichi didn't stop there. In 2018, together with Sergey Sider, the main ideologist of UA Electro, they decided to create a project of the same name, clinging to the theme of retro-futurism and broken rhythms.
In 2019, she launched the Kazuko Music label, on which she plans to release primarily the works of Ukrainian artists. Moreover, Inna produces her own music and is now trying to devote more time to production. In August last year, a track called Morning Forest was released on the Berlin-based vinyl label Super Sound Tool, this is Kichi's first vinyl release.
Also, in combination with the above, Kichi teaches at the Deepflat Music Academy.

For number thirty-five, Naarm/ Melbourne based collective @chomleychomley present a beautifully balanced, energy fuelled mix ranging from downtempo jazz and electronica to trance, techno and a bunch of lush tracks produced by some of Melbourne's most talented emerging artists (including some Animalia alumni ;)

In recent times the collective have been building a name for themselves through a range of special events in VIC and most recently an overnight doof in the ACT... a feat the entire east coast music community can be grateful for during the covid-19 era!

It’s been a while since The Other Side hasn’t delved into the dance element. The last few excursions definitely being aimed at various chill out zones… With summer approaching and things starting to open up again, I’ve definitely had an itch for kicking up dust! The challenge being time and piecing the right bits together. Different games, similar aims yet always focusing on the mind, body and soul…

Snarexx -  Bass Tales (Snippets)

We’re incredibly proud to announce the details of the first release on our label - an 8-track debut album from our resident Adam Pits. Inspired by nature and written during the first lockdown, the album shows off Adam’s classical cello background as well as a broad range of electronic styles you’ll already be familiar with. In his own words:

“2020 became a year of turning misfortunes into new opportunities. The feelings of clubbing neglect and social deprivation were prominent and as a result I found myself locked away in the studio with nothing better to do than to write the music that I wished I was hearing on a large sound system in a room full of sweaty rave-goers. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by friends who were able to drag me out of the studio and get outside for some real TLC from nature. After copious amounts of elderflower picking and mushroom foraging I found myself at peace with the idea that maybe the studio wasn't my only safe place. This ended up being the catalyst for many of the ideas in the album, and in turn, helped me realise the similarities between the beauty of repetition in both music and nature. 
A Recurring Nature has come out as a genuine representation of where I’m at in my musical journey. Whilst seeking to express the aspects of music that most resonated with me, I wanted to also test myself against the elements where I felt least comfortable.”

The LP will come in both digital and 2x12” vinyl formats, with the latter featuring full art from Patch and mastering from the renowned Analogcut studio. Pressed at Record Industry and distributed by One Eye Witness. Out 16th July.

Full Circle, also known as Alexis Le-Tan (Wonders Ovze World) and Joakim (Tigersushi, Crowdspacer), a long term project with close friends Le-Tan and Joakim music project and “concept band born from loving ears that want to re-process our electronic past.”

They’ve delivered some amazing edits of obscure Goa tracks and remixed the likes of Die Orangen, 10Lec6, and Tapan and released on Good Morning Tapes and Vladimir Ivkovic’s Offen.

“To complete a journey is to learn and to slow down and re-imagine is to enrich – Full Circle hears the hedonistic sound of the 90’s in a light that reflects a different space for our current time and beyond. 3 QUESTIONS to EDONE:

Q: Let's get into your mix. Why did you choose these tracks and what do they still mean to you?

A: I began to listen to Electronic Music when I was 12 years old or so, mid 1990's more or less. Probably my first contact was with a cassette that a friend recorded with the Experience album by The Prodigy, since then I was always linked to Electronic Music, from IDM to Breaks, Techno, House or others. In my mix you can find tracks that at some point of my life were special for me for any or other reason.

Q: Since clubs and festivals got closed we're all forced to stay home. What did you do since the lockdown came?

A: I spent a great time in the studio, I think I improved my mixdown and mastering skills, indeed I'm doing for others, and I had time to begin my new record label project.

Q: On which projects are you currently working and what can we expect from you this year?

A: As I mentioned in the last question, probably my most ambitious project at the moment is my new label called Surrrealism. This project itself is based and inspired on the art of surrealism. It's main goal is that of tracing a line which joins the visual and sound world, showing an special dedication to the aspects which exactly fit on the image of the brand. Thus, apart from the musical side where many renowned and acclaimed musicians are going to participate, a magnificent designers and artists team will be involved in the different fields of the art. Each of the covers in every launch date will be a  hand made oil on canvas made by one of their artists, always inspired by the branch of surrealism. Surrealism will mix the sound with visual art and they will go from the best musicians performances to proper expositions of art and paints of their authors. Everything here under the same proposal: The ART OF SURREALISM.

After stumbling into some fluoro drapes and mad psychedelic music somewhere in a field around 93, the path to becoming a Goa Trance DJ was inevitable.
Before the turn of the millenium and after having lived the dream, I realized there was maybe a bit more to life and sailed towards a different journey. Meeting many friendly music heads along the way who always helped broaden my horizons... Spinning round the block and back a few times... Carrying on my mission to spread the music or the word, I eventually came back to the sound of my youth and gave it a new twist. 
In life, things always come Full Circle and you will find a good representation of that here… 
Been trying to slow things down as much as I can in these modern days where we all live in the fast lane!
