Already one of the secret weapons of the last few months, 'Pentimento' by Yotam Avni gets an official release on Rebirth this summer.
One of the most prominent and exciting figures to emerge from Israel in recent years, Yotam is an accomplished producer, in-demand remixer and versatile DJ. 
His music career began early on, by 19 years old he compiled and produced expermential music for Modern Ballet, while working as a Music Journalist and  holding a DJ Residency at Tel-Aviv's leading club nights. He's back catalogue releases nowdays offers a wide musical range from Abstract Electronica to Soulful House all the way to Detroit Techno, releasing on labels like Ovum, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Be As One ! 
'Pentimento' is a strong tribal track, with a bassline and a synth lead that sounds huge everytime we play it. The track gets a brand new reinterpretation from one of our heroes, Joaquin Joe Claussell, who adds some cosmic and ethereal sounds to the african atmosphere of the original, turning out another epic journey !

The first release on Reinier Zonneveld’s own imprint, Filth on Acid, launches a special EP-series, Cocktails Mix series, whereby Reinier Zonneveld collaborates with artists that influence him, both creatively and personally.

Cocktails Mix I brings 4 different variations of tech to the floor. First up is Cold Conquest, featuring Stil vor Talent's head honcho Oliver Koletzki, together they deliver a peak-time track with lots of emotional and musical elements, while keeping a steady heavy rhythm section.

Adding Gem’s labelhead Secret Cinema to the cocktail gives us a purist no nonsense techno banger perfect for dark rooms and dirty basements. 

For the third track on the EP, we see Reinier Zonneveld combined with Gabriel Ananda, showing their emotional and deep signature sound coming to the forefront, with mesmerizing melodies and brilliant synthwork. Perfect for a night closer or sunny open air.

Finally the EP closes of with Matt Sassari and Reinier going all out with an extreme energetic bomb, featuring a machine gun like synth bass.

German producer HOSH kicks off his new label fryhide with a free to download continuous mix that is made up of all his own tracks. Called Stories From Sa Talaia, the album is out on May 25th, but tracks from it will also be released as four individual EPs on the label. Now comes the first one featuring four fine efforts that showcase his broad house style and find the Ibiza based, Diynamic associated producer in the form of his life.

Up first is 'Standing Still Is Moving Backwards' a track that serves two purposes as it is a perfect peaktime techno opener or the sort of track to bring a break in between big moments to let people breeze before you fire up the next gem. It's fresh in every way and shoes the producer coming at techno from an exciting new angle. Next is 'Fire and Ice', a dark, analog, melodic track with crisp in-your-face hi hats but also deep melodic vibes. The title describes this fine fusion of sounds perfectly as it goes deep and moody with warped synths and menacing bass. 

On the flipside, 'The Watergate Affair' features vocals from Lou from the GHEIST agency after the pair met at Watergate and HOSH instructed him to "go further with this. Experiment with your voice. Go somewhere where you haven´t been yet, don't be scared just do it." And he nailed it with a beauty hard to describe in words as HOSH lets the vocal shine with a simple straight forward reduced techno beat. The outcome is a surefire festival anthem in the making this summer. 

Last but not least is 'Natalia's Lullaby', the closing track from the album that was written for HOSH pregnant wife. The resulting track is beautiful and filled with emotion that will make any set that bit more special.

A strong desire to propel music into the next sonic century leads Ae:ther, gifting us with the futuristic ‘Stardancer’.

“‘Stardancer’–or the ballad of the stars–is a story soundtrack, a touch of world music, harsh melodies and sweet arpeggios that fit well with the Crosstown Rebels vision. ‘Ultravox’ is another piece of mine that was created on the coast of Tuscany. At the beginning, the song was a neoclassical project that was then combined with soft techno beats... the interpretation of the calm and the tempest of the Tyrrhenian Sea and distant lights from Elba that merge with the reflection of the night sky on the waves." ​- ​Ae:ther

The EP opens with ​Stardancer ​- an emotive and deeply mesmeric track that weaves together a twinkling and trance-like rhythm with a driving techno beat. On the flip, ​Ultravox ​builds with intensity, creating a cinematic ambience, balancing ethereal synths with a pounding beat.

Ae:ther ​has been an explorer of sound for many years. His study of sound design whilst living in Milan, enables him to add an extra layer of depth to his productions - experimental and ambient, yet still able to entice dancers to the floor. He’s had music signed to Tale Of Us’ Afterlife imprint and his productions have attracted the attention of Damian Lazarus who commissioned him to remix his single ​All I Need w​ ith the Ancient Moons. Lazarus has also signed Ae:ther’s debut album. 2019 is shaping up to be a big year for the Berlin-based producer with a new release on Afterlife in the pipeline as well as plans to unveil his spectacular live-show to the world.

Following Colyn’s standout track on the Realm Of Consciousness Pt.IV compilation, we see the full breadth of his scope as a producer on his first EP for the label.

Innellea return to Afterlife with another EP of unique dancefloor creations.

The duo first appeared on Afterlife late in 2018 with the striking sounds of Vigilans. They’re now back with four more tracks brimming with their signature, organic percussion and ever-original touch.

‘The White Blanket’ is hauntingly beautiful, with an eerie vocal and piercing synth line at its core. The title track is equally epic, balancing dark and bright, uplifting elements to a euphoric effect. ‘Visionquest’ and ‘We Thrive’ continue the theme with two singular and inspired takes on the Afterlife sound.
