My attempt to recreate Thomas Newman's captivating opening cue for American Beauty: "Dead Already." I've always loved this music and learning how to recreate it has been an amazing experience. By the end of the recording process, I had even taken liberties with the original to add my own flair to the foundation that Newman created. Unlike the original, I recorded cello (performed by Madison West)to add an extra element to the already exotic soundscape.
