Louis Axcell has been immersed in DJ culture since the age of 15, when he first picked up a pair of Technics and started experimenting with turntablism. Those early years laid the foundations for a lifelong connection to digging, selection, and the subtle craft of reading and moving a crowd.

Born and raised in South East London, Louis, alongside the Into The Burrow team, are the driving force behind a series of monthly underground parties in unassuming venues that have become a vital meeting point for dancers, artists, and independent spirits since 2022. He’s genre-fluid sets invite you on a journey and move instinctively with the dance floor. 

This ethos carries through with The Burrow Festival — an independent gathering built to celebrate rave culture and everything it stands for: freedom, resistance, self-expression, and togetherness. With the current climate seeing record numbers of festivals and grassroots events folding under financial and operational pressures, Louis and the team are holding the line — prioritising purpose over profit, and creating platforms for grass roots art, allowing creativity to thrive.
