I got the keys in my pocket but I still think that I am going to stay the night
You got a picture of the king in your locket
And it makes you feel like everything is going to be alright
But that’s not right
Yeah that’s not right
If I was given the keys to the kingdom I know that I would bring them
I would never leave something like that behind
At the very least I would break into the feast and bring the king down to his knees
And give him a piece of my mind
If I was told to sing everything that I go to sing I don’t know if I'd even have my own mind
Is this just a test? Appease the king just like the jester just to try to keep him satisfied
I don’t know where else that I can go, what else I have to show

Alice Green is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based in London.
Her songs are a mix of rock, pop, blues and jazz, all condensed in 3 minutes.

She has been a guitarist and a composer for 15 years: she performed in  music duos, rock bands and a rock orchestra, composed music for all of them,  she wrote music for theatrical plays and for poetry reading, she enjoyed teaching guitar and the very first approach to music for kids.
But in the last few years she decided to focus on songwriting and singing her own songs.

Today Alice performs as a solo artist in the clubs and pubs in London.
