'Are You Crazy' - Aliens Don't Ring Doorbells

Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells present, Christmas in Kyiv…a Christmas song for our times. 

Christmas in Kyiv is all about the challenges faced around the world and a simple call to ‘Live together’.  Musically, the song incorporates influences from the Ukrainian folk song, Shchedryk, written in 1914 by Mykola Leontovych known in the west as Carol of the Bells. “It’s a musical nod to Ukraine’s rich musical culture” says Adam King, lead singer. 

‘The idea for the song just came to me’ recalls Dorian Foyil, guitarist and co-founder of the band. ‘I lived and worked in Ukraine for over 15 years up to 2014 when the Russian invasion of Ukraine originally began and my wife is Ukrainian so those small Ukrainian towns and villages I often saw while living and working there are very much in my thoughts’. Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells wishes all our fans the very best of holidays and hopes for the future.
