ROOT TRAINING 
Yesterday, I stood under a mighty oak tree for a long time.
Over 250 years old, in excellent health, with a trunk circumference of 6.5 meters — and from its treetops you can glimpse the sea. A silent giant, rooted deeply, adapting gracefully to wind and time. A perfect place to ground yourself.
The photomontage is from today: the oak’s trunk combined with my Qigong form, projected as a white shadow — “Root Training.”

Qigong has been practiced for thousands of years; whole libraries are filled with books about it.

An old stairway in West-Berlin – amidst the turbulent events of summer 1968 – is the starting point of mysterious interactions that intensify in surprising ways, creating a fascinating story. 

Full of poetry and excitement, the film develops a sparkling interplay between actors and events, where peaceful, life-affirming imagination is the all-pervading and connecting energy.

The twelve-year-old Hiltrun, always inventing and drawing stories, meets Mario of the same age on the old stairway. Fascinated by his enthusiasm for dinosaurs, she begins – sitting on her favorite spot in the run-down stairway – to create an exciting story.

To Mario’s surprise, her story is almost completely identical with the first part of an extremely thrilling dinosaur report in his children’s magazine – which she could not have known… Amazed and touched, he discovers in Hiltrun a person full of secret mystery and enthusiasm.

Trusting him, she confides that she only devises the beginnings of her stories. And so the movie unfolds an intriguing and exciting world of ideas full of poetry and music – and her mysterious friend makes his appearance…

TOMORROW | Storytelling Music & Artwork No. 16

2098. AI system designer Alin Arcobaleno lives in a world that has long lost its wholeness.
She discovers, within the Crash-Mode-Program-1-9-8-4, a young musician named Nobody who moves and inspires her deeply.
Stuttering and isolated, she begins to watch him privately on her display.

1984. An AI simulation called Crash-Mode-Program-1-9-8-4.
A countdown world in countdown style.
Focus: observing fashion trends in the face of a pre-programmed crash.
Nobody doesn’t know that his personality is coded — that the world he lives in is a complex AI construct.
But Alin Arcobaleno knows.
She suffers until the moment when it seems there’s no way out left for her.
When Nobody, sitting in his run-down kitchen, invents the song “Tomorrow” and plays it on his guitar, Alin Arcobaleno senses that he somehow knows.

Her tears freeze as she suddenly discovers parallels to her own world — parallels that can’t be coincidence…
