EDX - BREATHIN' (SpinninDeep)

With his year already off to a flying start, EDX is back for his new release 'Breathin' out through Spinnin Deep on 16th June 2014. 

Keeping with a more chilled out vibe, 'Breathin' is a beautiful and melodic summer anthem with a soft drum beat and ethereal vocals.

After a busy 2014 so far with 'Cool You Off' still riding high in the top 10 of the Beatport Deep House Chart, a massive remix of Calippo's 'Back There', and 'Reckless Ardor', EDX is back with his latest release, this time for Spinnin Deep. 

Over the past few years, EDX aka Maurizio Colella has made a name for himself in the international dance music scene, headlining the world’s finest clubs and festivals to crowds in excess of 60,000 – from Miami to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York,  all the way to Sydney. 

Starting 2014 at the top of the Beatport charts with his deep house single, 'Reckless Ardor', and his highly anticipated 'Miami Sunset' remix of Avicii’s 'Wake Me Up', EDX remains as a prominent, influential force in dance music releasing some of the most in demand tracks of the moment.

Tontario X Leo Islo - Coexist

LAMP member Leo Islo joins forces with Tontario on an emotionally charged journey in 'Coexist'. The subtle crackle of a vinyl can be heard as Islo's soothing lyrics echo through the shrouds of a hazy, cavernous abyss. A soft piano chord calmly progresses resting underneath a thin layer of warm, ethereal synths that slowly crescendo into a collective auditory atmosphere. Soft shakers melt together with loose claps and other percussive layers to create an aqueous soundscape. The track looks to leave the listener with a renewed sense of clarity, unity and hopeful outlook on the world that is recurrently divisive.

Tontario's grasp for sewing the threads of talented vocal artists with delicate melodic compositions is acutely demonstrated in this latest collaboration with Leo Islo. The Finnish producer has clearly made his mark as well as a lasting impression on his audience that will resonate for some time to come.

This is the first track AK and I created being in the same room together. All other collaborations before were made by sending ideas back and forth online.

It's been a while, hope you're all well! After taking a little break with the label we've decided to go back memory lane, digging out one of our favourites and let some people play around with. Case in point Wingz - Confined got the remix treatment by no one other than InsideInfo and oh boy does he deliver! Minimal tech vibes at best. But it doesn't stop there! After their latest 140 bpm release on Artikal we had to get Mystic State to remix this track and it turns out it wasn't that bad of an idea. The Bristol duo delivers a stomping 140 remix! Coming back to the 170 and last but certainly not least competition winner Solace offers another twist on the original with his rolling, deep & brooding style. 3 different takes which will equally shatter your sub!

Enhanced Chill welcomes Faodail with his first release on the label - this is 'Real / Out Of Sight'.

Scottish producer Faodail crafts his own unique brand of Ambient electronic music, creatively manipulating textures and using intricate sound design to create dynamic, constantly evolving tracks that swell from serene and reserved into expansive, grandiose epics. 

EP opener 'Real' features immersive, lively percussion and unyielding bass that provide a gorgeous bedrock to a glistening, immaculate vocal, and 'Out Of Sight' follows with sparkling distorted synths, bubbling percussion, delicate idiophones and a supremely luscious vibe. The distinct elements of both tracks come together to create an emotional, affecting atmosphere.
