Disquiet Junto Project 0034: Radius Joint

This is a shared-sample project. The sample is the opening jingle (or "sound logo") for the excellent Chicago-based series called Radius. The series is broadcast in Chicago at 88.9 FM. Its jingle is titled "Radius loop."
 
You will make an original piece of music in which the sample will serve as your sole sound source. Your track will open with the jingle/logo running in full. As it comes to a close, you will segue into an original piece of music built from a transformation of that jingle/logo. You can transform this source audio as you please, but you cannot include any additional sounds.

This music it's a sum of piano, rhodes, strings, very high or low frequencies, noises, and some soundscapes that I found in the web. I'm just here to share the musical images that emerge from my heart to connect, digitally and long distance, with other people that have been immersed in some places that also i have. This music is a response to the violence, misery, and authoritarianism in Mexico, a kind of anesthetic echo of tenderness. My profile image by Aarón Cruz.

Mr Frisbee sometimes known Nik Vaughn has been recording and performing for over twenty years. Fris first became known as a DJ supporting visiting US rap acts like Ice T, BDP, Cash Money & Marvellous, Sugar Bear, then as a musician with 90's dance bands & labels such as Flying, Luvdup & DMC. His multi instrumental & turntable skills have been used on many Film & TV productions & remix projects with artist like Dat Brass, Professor Elemental, Dr Syntax, The Nerve Agents, Wotupski & the Pitch Invaders.
