Embracing electronic music’s poignant zest, The Journey are delivering studio output supported by pioneers and humble music enthusiasts equally.

Built to keep dance-floor hearts full, the Melbourne based duo have knelt to electronic devotees on one knee, gracing stages at the iconic Rainbow Serpent Festival, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic and Strawberry Fields Festival, while having cemented solid tours throughout Europe in 2018 & 2019 and again in 2022.  Delivering ammunition for festival, club and afterparty, The Journey have earned themselves a place on some of the world’s finest labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Bedrock & Einmusika whilst also being remixed by some of the industries elite in Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, PARIS, CIOZ, Re.you, Rafael Cerato and Florian Kruse, the list goes on.  The Journey have added their own flavour to a number of world class artists, remixing the likes of Super Flu, Bebetta, Betoko, Sharam Jay, Luke Chable and Quench’s 1993 anthem, ‘Dreams’.

Their remix for singer-songwriter Running Touch on ‘My Hands’ acquired a well-deserved spot on the 2019 Ministry of Sound Annual.  The Journey also attracted prodigious recognition after remixing the iconic ‘Treaty’ by Yothu Yindi resulting in them being nominated for The Age’s Music Victoria Electronic Artist of The Year alongside Dom Dolla, Client Liaison, Harvey Sutherland and KLLO.  Their original works, collaborations and remixes have amassed three ARIA Club Chart #1’s, and a handful of Beatport top 10’s in their respective genres whilst being played and supported by the biggest names in the industry.

The road ahead derives inspiration from the last year’s vibrant success - musically on some of the world’s most celebrated record labels, amidst stacking shows across the Australian summer and looking ahead will be no doubt entering new territories.

Steve Bleas has been a prominent figure in Australia’s electronic music scene for over two decades. His dedication to his craft has seen him become one of Melbourne’s most sought after and praised DJ/producers.

Steves ability to construct extended sets into remarkable auditory journeys has seen him consistently grace the decks of some of Melbourne/Australia’s most iconic nightclubs, leaving an indelible mark with his exceptional talent. Steves musical prowess has allowed him to command the stage at renowned festivals across Melbourne, including Rainbow Serpent, BTV, Pitch, Paradigm, Defqon and The Resistance Stage of Ultra Music Festival, establishing himself as a true festival veteran.

Renowned for his cheeky edits and bootlegs, one his most sought-after creations, his iconic "Psycho Killer" edit consistently being played across Melbourne's dancefloors. If there's a bootleg that's making waves, you can safely assume it’s Steve creation.

Steve's musical prowess extends beyond the DJ booth, as his production endeavours have garnered global recognition. Comprised of solo-releases, remixes, projects and collaborations, we’d rather refer to his discography. As those references would just distract from what truly matters – the music this guy is delivering.

His recent releases are characterized by a captivating melodic essence intertwined with driving bass lines that captivate listeners worldwide. From multiple plays on BBC Radio 1 to making it on an Essential Mix - Getting songs played at Tomorrowland and festivals worldwide to being signed to huge local and European labels such as Recovery Collective, Ugenius & Reflector to Complexed, Lost On You, SIZE and ULTRA.

Steve is also a visionary in event curation, hosting numerous sold-out parties and being one of the main partners behind the brand ‘NU TECHNO’.

From the country to the city, Bec Grenfell is renowned for her seamless dj sets and unique blend of ethereal techno and house music. Over the last 15 years she has gained a huge amount of respect with many of the big players in Australia, subsequently scoring performances at the prestigious Rainbow Serpent Festival 4 years in a row, as well as many other festivals such as Strawberry Fields, Elements, Babylon, Luft, Beyond the Valley, Piknic Electronik, and Circoloco. Bec has also recently played internationally at the world renown club The Block in Tel Aviv & Ozora. Not to mention a slew of the Australia's best clubs like Revolver, 161, Xe54, Circus and Brown Alley alongside Melbourne's finest promoters Novel, Thick as Thieves, Untitled Group, Stable Music, Wildwood, Hardware, Nu techno, Arteq & One More Tune. 

When it comes to passion for quality music, whether it be old or new, Bec Grenfell has it down to a fine art. Playing her own definition of a much broader spectrum of electronic music, Bec’s music is best described as a unique style of melodic ethereal undertones with heavy basslined house and techno. She loves less obvious or predictable sound landscapes as she believes the unknown is always more attractive. 

Bec's passion for music delves deeply to a neuroscience level with her avid research on music's powerful effects on the brain in neurological conditions and her rehabilitation for people with cognitive and movement disorders.

Bec is constantly pushing the boundaries with her visionary sounds, paving the way for female artists in the underground scene. She lets her music knowledge and over 15 years of experience in the scene do the talking. She really knows how to capture and excite an audience with her smoothly transitioned sets and individual groove which separates her from the numerous generic “techno” artists that are seen today. Her stage presence is second to none, bringing you a journey of euphoria and electricity, leaving you questioning what the hell you are listening to!
