Lyrical expression became a way of release for the imbalanced Libra. As a pre-teen she admired her older brother and his group of friends who would hold “free-style cyphers” in the garage before and after school.  Since their home was directly across the street from Artesia High a well-known Basketball School in SoCali. Something about the rawness of the way the boys ‘spit’ really appealed to her mental. Although they never allowed her to rap she knew she could compete with their flow. Writing came easy for her and expressing it verbally was a welcomed challenge.

 

She reluctantly relocated to Atlanta as a teenager; then again as a young adult. She submersed herself into the culture and began performing at local venues. A Singer-songwriter with 12 original songs to her credit.  This linguistic, lyricist will take you on a journey through the not so pretty urban-lifestyle with Wolfs, Sharks and Snakes. And in the next breath, “When you’re sick she’ll take care of ya” with her AllyKane Original track……………..”I’m in Love with You”
