Although a relative newcomer to his chosen instrument, music has been in Jon's life as long as he can remember. Due to both an undying love for music, as well as inspiration from the greats of the folk and blues scene, Jon began writing, and didn't stop. 

By crafting a unique playing style that compliments his rich melodies and provocative lyrics perfectly, Jon has carved a sound that is always in demand. Through his music you will hear the romance of Folk and the heartbreak of Blues, combined with a unique style that's all his own. 

After spending the past few years experimenting with recording, Jon has finally endeavoured to begin releasing his material to the world at large. By utilising Indiegogo to help fund a lot of exciting content, he will certainly be onto big things soon. 

Marc Hype began his DJ career, inspired by the late great Jam Master Jay, in 1988 and went through the several decades of hip hop with countless releases, tours and competitions like the ITF championships, which he won twice in 98 & 99. During this time he collaborated and recorded with artists like the Juice Crew legend Masta Ace, Souls Of Mischief, DJ Z-Trip, Killa Kela & Mr. Lif. Over the years his record collection and his musical mind  expanded and led him to all kinds of funky music. His selection on the decks as on production is freestyle, always with a unique groove, no matter the genre.

Jim Dunloop began to train as a classical piano player at the age of four. At his minor age he was analyzing the compositions of Gershwin and Bruback, leading to a keen interest in jazz music. He quickly developed his knowledge of the creative works of many great jazz/funk pianists such as Herbie Hancock , Bob James , Chick Corea and Adam Makiewicz.

In the year 2004 they both met in Berlin for the first time and quickly began to collaborate on shows and production. Their first vinyl releases on the infamous Milk Crate label, "The Antique Anthem", "Bombay Raw" & "Finale 74", were very successful in the worldwide dj-circuit, followed by a cover version of Babe Ruth's "The Mexican" in 2006, which was dubbed by UK's Jazzman Gerald as "the" version to have. On the remix tip they build a strong reputation with works for artists like All Good Funk Alliance, Deela or Kid Gusto.Their past tour schedule proved their ability to rock internationaly with stops allover europe as in NYC, Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, United Arabian Emirates, Israel & Australia.

The live performance of Marc Hype & Jim Dunloop is best defined as a mix of DJing, Turntablism and the highest of piano art. Together they gain 50 years of musical experience!

The Album

"Stamp Out Reality" is the musical manifest of Marc Hype & Jim Dunloop. A diverse mix of different styles which reflects their unique live concept. On the one hand you have classic hip hop joints like "Predominant" ft. the magnificent Mr. Lif or "Oh Really" ft. Queen's own Mr. Complex, on the other you might listening to Miami's Old School Funk legend Blowfly on "The Pussy Song", cuban diva Malena Perez from NYC on the latin influenced "Rare Occasion, heavy break stompers like "Wah Wah Wah"" or a funk cover version of the 80s electro classic "Al Naafiysh (The Soul)". The concept of the album is to display the diversity of the two maestros, coming from different backrounds, met inside the hip hop culture and travelleling through the paths of 21st century funk.


Launched in 2010, THE REFLEX is a project from producer / DJ Nicolas Laugier, a French national based in the UK since 1998. Following on the footsteps of remix / DJ edit pioneers Larry Levan, Shep Pettibone, François Kevorkian or John Luongo, The Reflex somewhat redefined the remix rules book by using stems and multitracks to craft fresh, innovative versions (dubbed ’revisions’) from classics tracks and artists, genre-hopping through the decades and styles with ease, combining creativity and functionality with often spectacular results.

Boca 45 is known as somewhat of a Bristol (UK) institution from his early days in the mid 90s selling Golden Era Hip Hop from behind the counter of the seminal Purple Penguin record shop rapidly becoming one of Bristol’s most in demand DJs for a quick fire mix of bone-cracking breaks, hip hop, coruscating funk, rock and heavy soul these are all of the musical ingredients which make up Forty Five.
Once Scott Boca got to grips with the studio from the early 00’s he’s had continuous releases, remixes, DJ mixes on labels such as Island/Universal, Domino Recordings, Ninja Tunes, Grand Central, Illicit, Jalapeno, Unique & more under a slew of aliases.
At the advent of Scott Boca’s 45th year on planet Earth he decided to hone everything he’s learnt and loved into one killer solo record.
When making Forty Five, Boca pulled together friends, family and footie mates to make a record that would deserving stand as his musical autobiography - that cast list included his Bryan Munich teammates (Geoff Barrow and Billy Fuller from Beak, Ben Salisbury), Kasabian’s Sergio Pizzorno, NYC MC Emskee, New Zealander soul singer Louis Baker and Malachai bandmate Gee.
Forty Five is Scott Bocas life story in twelve cuts; the soundtrack to an immersion in sound, it’s an honest personal statement. His Twin teenage Sons designed the Forty Five Logo, Boca wrote the comprehensive sleeve notes personally breaking down the back ground of each track as well as making the inner collage using images from all of the collaborators on the LP.
The first people to hear the record outside of a close circle of friends was titanic U.S. record label Mass Appeal (home to DJ Shadow, Nas, Run the Jewels and the J Dilla catalogue).
They immediately offered and signed the record in a worldwide deal.
Previously Scott Boca provided a track for the Banksy Movie “Exit Through The Gift Shop” & in 2015 the elusive artist personally requested Boca to DJ with his 45s at the opening night at his Dismal Land Show.
2018 saw Boca release Bocas Club Donuts - a series of five highly covetable, DJ Friendly iron banger 7’’ singles which each sold out within a matter of hours to a rabid set of collectors via only announcements via his own social media channels.
Now on to 2019 Boca is ready to hit the clubs and world wide festivals armed with a heaving box of Vinyl Wax to spread the good word of Forty Five to whip crowds into a frenzy with his crazy collection of hot 7'' donut Forty Fives.

Dj and Producer from Paris, creator of explosive records, Dj Suspect pushes aside the musical borders in his dj set coloured of Deep Funk, Afrobeat, Tasty Breaks, Hip Hop, Futuristic Jazz, Broken and all kinds of groove.

His acute sens of the dancefloor coupled with implacable control of turntables, allowed him to stand up to the turntables Afrika Bambaataa, Pete Rock, Cash Money, Marley Marl, Dj Craze, Dj Format and many others artists of international fame.
He became in some years only a reference with many parties and events worldwide, being always at the service of dancers and rare groove lovers.

Half of the ex-duo The Funk League, their LP "Funky As Usual" has been released in 2012 after 3 vinyls on which have been especially invited Sadat X (Brand Nubian), Large Professor (Main Source), Diamond D (D.I.T.C), and more legendary mc's.

He's now workin on his future LP comin next year with Doc TMK, and Funky Edits with his brother Son Of A Pitch.
