The Astral Pines inspire audiences to dance by mixing funk, jazz and psychedelic rock in a contemporary, improvisational style. The band consists of four instrumentalists on drums, bass, guitar, and keyboards. They often bring in guest musicians such as a saxophonist or hip-hop artist. The result is that each performance features and creates an evolving, unique sound, providing audiences with dynamic, instrumental interplay.
