We are ecstatic to be kicking off the 2022 Techgnosis Records lineup with a ferocious showing from the always-impressive Aleckat, who first made his label debut exactly 2 years ago. We celebrate this auspicious occasion with the release of 'Scritchy', a truly exceptional mini-album comprised of 5 brand new creations, with 2 of those getting a proper remix treatment from scene icons Miles From Mars and a collaborative rework from fellow Australian artists, the talented Tomchilla and Lektrk. Aleckat's signature playful-yet-serious blend of progressive and psychedelic techno is on full display here, with each piece boasting a strong thematic flavor and sound design. Overall, we know these 7 standard-setting sonic slabs will end up as sure-fire favorites of the Techgnosis faithful!

Axiom - defined as a self-evident truth, or a statement that lays a foundation for elaboration upon an idea. Presenting his first release, now-18-year-old Clockwise, hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, brings his own twist to the scene with his distinct style of sonic exploration and experimentation in the 4 track EP. ‘Axiom’ features the psychedelic techno legends Martin Vice & Michael Banel as a part of this exploration, merging their undeniable creative edge with Clockwise’s fresh approach to psychedelic music. Raw, hypnotic and immersive are but a few terms to describe ‘Axiom’.

Out of Orbit, the new project of Eitan Reiter from Loud is here with a second EP to warm you up for the album coming in early 2020. 
After a first collaborative EP with Shpongle (Simon Posford) with Red Axes on remix duties, here Eitan teams up with longtime musical partner and one of the more unique voices in the Psytrance world - Perfect Stranger. 
Space Jahnun presents another of the many diverse soundscapes the upcoming album will offer, time travelling to both past & future with a lot of live synthesizer recordings from the studio. Besides the mysterious acid-infused sounding album version that will surely hypnotize you, you get a massive explosive remix from non-other than Astrix that will satisfy all dancefloor needs. Perfect Stranger adds his own Wild Ride Mix accentuating his signature psychedelic progressive vibe, and as an appetizer we have for you a kaleidoscopic downtempo adventure from Eitan himself.

This is a very uneasy time for most of us. I take my isolation as a chance to be a better Dad and Husband, but also as a chance to get back to solo music making, a thing that was as natural as waking up for me but the years of touring, relocation to another continent and creating a family over there pretty much demolished my creative routine... so this current situation is a great time to focus on creation!

Also, Perfectly Strange tunage from my perspective was always about creating a sonic world which in it's turn creates an escape from the daily grind for those that seek it, and it seems that the grind is stronger than ever... So here is a long preview for one of the tracks I plan for the upcoming Perfect Stranger album, it's still in the works but it creates that escape, at least for me - what do you think?..

This album was inspired by their week-long trip to Montreal, Canada in January 2020, where they both performed incredible sets at our event before a crowd that has never heard them before. Let's just say, minds were blown.
This EP contains one collaborative and two individual tracks.
Staying true to their sound, TiM and APHE provide us with driving basslines and groovy melodies, that make these 3 musical production ready for any dancefloor.
