Thematically this song is a critique of the hypocrisy and callousness of Christopher Luxon referring to beneficiaries as bottom feeders, when he and his cronies are the ultimate corporate welfare parasites living off tax breaks and subsidies.

Conceived as a guitar and synth driven punk ditty the club mix strips away the live instrumentation and pairs Hannah's pulverizing vocals with Alphabethead's hypnotic low-end and Siren's song synths. We hope this new drum machine, sub bass treatment gives the song the propulsion needed to gatecrash the club and jump-scare the dance party!

Displeasure is the dystopian anarcho-synth punk subsidiary of Unsanitary Napkin. It's the same trio but with bass guitar fairly traded for drum triggered-samples. Equal parts furious and catchy, the songs deal with the swirling mess of scaremongering bullshit rearing its increasingly ugly head in political discourse in Aotearoa.

Alphabethead is producer and Turntablist determined to breathe life into the skeletons of old vinyl through using the long abandoned skill of DJ scratching. His current practice pairs crackle soaked vinyl loops with pristine software-aided sound design.
