Greek producer NOMÅGIK, most known for his unqiue fusions of Gnawa & Bedouin traditions into modern electronic cuts, collaborates on a remix of ‘Sudani Bambara’ with Moroccan New York based Gnawa musician ‘Samir Langus’. most known for being part of the Grammy nominated band ‘Innov Gnawa’. Their collaboration results in a chilled out positive song that feels like somewhere between the beach and desert of Dahab

Sundani Bambara (NOMÅGIK & Samir Langus Remix) is the 4th single of the ‘’Alt Orient VA”, the 5 year anniversary release of the record label Alt Orient (Previously Souq Records). 

The compilation will be released on the 5th of November,  featuring 8 remixes of songs from the labels back catalog, 1 official edit & 1 new original collaboration.

Kraut is an alter-ego of renowned Amsterdam producer Daniel Zuur. He has been a household name on the German and Dutch electronic music scene since 2009 having played iconic clubs and festivals such as Katerblau (Berlin) Sisyphos (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam) and Baum (Bogota, Colombia). With Kraut he’s bound to bring his audience a flux of world music influenced electronica, different tempo’s and lots of percussion.

The Ya Lur EP is about longing to the elements of life you most love. On this EP Kraut is combining different cultural elements from the jungle of Afrika to the deserts of the Middle East.

For the title track Ya Lur, he worked together with Amsterdam based singer, Wasim Arsian. When living his life in Aleppo, Wasim was singing this traditional Syrian song to his niece. Now he’s spreading the words of love, together with Kraut, to the rest of the world.
