Come titolavano gli M83 nel loro disco probabilmente più amato, “Hurry Up, We’re dreaming”, così anche noi, dopo la stretta asfissiante del lockdown, abbiamo deciso di scrollarci di dosso le bad vibes e fare qualcosa di bello, festante, liberatorio. Così è nata Hurry Up! VOL.1, la compilation di remix fatta di nomi che amiamo della scena musicale italiana, che hanno deciso di mettere un loro pezzo nelle (sapienti) mani di colleghi che gli hanno dato un nuovo mood e quindi una seconda vita. Hurry Up! è un progetto che non avrebbe potuto vedere la luce senza un fortissimo e non scontato senso di condivisione, collaborazione e fiducia tra artisti, che hanno inteso il remix proprio come un dono, di cui prendersi cura e da restituire arricchito e acchittato, per planare su quel dancefloor che tanto ci manca. Perché, sì, abbiamo tutti voglia di ritrovarci a ballare, ma nel frattempo con questa compilation abbiamo voluto regalarvi una compilation che vi tenga ben allenati e che, al contempo, raccoglierà, in ogni sua edizione, fondi per organizzazioni non governative scelte dagli stessi artisti. Insomma, “we’re dreaming”, ma dobbiamo sbrigarci, che il tempo dell’attesa è finito e c’è bisogno di spargere bellezza, ma anche concretezza, intorno a noi.
