Pure of Heart was created during a study session with Nizaar Khan from India (Jodpur - Rajasthan) at my Bergtonstudio. A little jubilation outside the work on an album by Nizaar and me for a meditative world music fusion of Indian traditional elements and the intuitive music of with in the spirit of Markus Stockhausen. This piece is a fusion of traditions from Afghanistan (my frame drum) and the Sarod (played with virtuosity by Nizaar). A piece of pure being and pure of any differences in the cultures. True world music
