Carl Shorts is the sonic alter ego of an extraordinary, forward-thinking hard techno producer and composer. Known for delivering uncompromising, hard-hitting techno, his style is raw, relentless and industrial - forged in the underground and built for concrete walls, strobe lit floors and peak hour pressure.

Inspired by the grit of 90s European techno and the do it yourself ethics of modern underground movements, Shorts leads a new breed of hard techno artists. Drawing influence from the pulse of Berlins basements to the industrial echoes of Detroit, Shorts' productions are driven by pounding kick drums, relentless grooves and distorted rhythms and textures to create the hard-hitting sound that he is renowned for.  

With a sound firmly rooted in the underground scene, Shorts' technical compositional and production abilities allow him to channel a philosophy of movement, tension, and release in his tracks whilst constantly pushing the boundaries of hard techno music - no gimmicks, no compromises, just pure sustained intensity and power,  producing work that goes beyond expectation and never diluted.

San Francisco-based Amber is an ambassador for uncompromising hard techno. Active since the 90s, Amber was a resident DJ with the woman-centered collective Sister SF, co-founded NorCal DJ and Music Production Academy, and co-hosted :CODE, a nightlife and electronic music television show and weekly at DNA Lounge. She currently hosts Maximal Techno weekly on Twitch.

Aunque por las venas de André Vicenzzo corre sangre italiana y vasca, nace en Chile el año 1975 y se traslada a vivir a Tarragona con 8 años.

En sus más de 20 años de trayectoria ha pinchado en multitud de salas de todo el mundo como Ministry Of sound y Fire (Londres), Club One (Buenos Aires), Discotheque  & Icon Club (Moscú), Piso 30 y Carnival (Colombia), La Rocca (Bélgica), Moa-Club (Suiza), Matilda Fashion (Italia), B.U.M.P. (Holanda), Toto-Loco (Francia)… Y españolas de prestigio como Amnesia, Space,El Divino, Bora-Bora, La Plage… (Ibiza),Razzmatazz, Lokotron, Merci, D-Mix, Souvenir, Row 14, Colors of Sound, Pacha, Gloobal (Barcelona), Fabrik ,Space of Sound (Madrid), Zul , New Guass (Pais vasco…) Pacha La Pineda (Tarragona)…
También ha formado parte del cartel de festivales como el Matinée Summer Festival, o su edición invernal Winter Edition, White Party Mallorca, La Masia Summer Festival o el Sunlife Festival…  Toda esta experiencia detrás de los platos le ha dado la oportunidad de compartir cabina con grandes de la música electrónica como Valentino Kanzyani, Troy Pierce, Cristian Varela, Axwell, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin o Luciano. En enero del 2009 entra a formar parte del grupo promotor Matinée Group, siendo residente en sus diferentes salas y sesiones, coincidiendo con sus primeras nominaciones en los premios Deejaymags y Dj Oners. Precisamente dos años después consigue el premio a mejor dj de la capital barcelonesa en los Living Barcelona Dj Awards.

Como productor inicia su carrera el año 2002 ,y es en su madurez cuando consigue publicar en sellos de tanto prestigio como Toolroom o  Glasgow Underground, junto a su gran amigo Daniel Trim . Fué colaborador en la gestión del sub-sello discográfico de Matinée Music, Matinée Music B-Side (Tech-Matinée) y también ha publicado sus temas en sellos como Juicy Trax, Goanche Records, Tretmuehle récords, Low Blow récords, Hugh Recordings, Candyloop Recordings, House Works, Housepark, Marfil Recordings, Matinée Recodings, Usual Records, Tarraco Recordings… 

Ha mezclado diferentes recopilatorios de la prestigiosa promotora Matinée Group así como sus producciones han sido  incluidas en los  recopilatorios de promotoras tan importantes como Lokotron, Bora-Bora Ibiza, Dome Ibiza o Space Barcelona entre otros… y apoyados sus trabajos por parte de artistas de la talla de Pete Tong, Hernan Cataneo, Nick & Danny Chatelain o Armin Van Buuren entre otros grandes de la electrónica… 

Este 2016, en una continua evolución, André Vicenzzo ya siendo profesor hace un tiempo en la prestigiosa academia Plastic Barcelona, monta su propia academia y sucursal de Plastic  en la provincia de Tarragona.

Así mismo, el año 2016,  junto a su gran amigo y socio, Coqui Selection, unen sus fuerzas dando lugar a una nueva formación:
COQUI + VICENZZO Su estilo energético y alegre hace de sus sesiones un viaje musical apto para todos los públicos aunque no exento de calidad.
House y Tech-House componen sus sets cargados de un groove incesante y una intensidad que no te dejará para de bailar ni un instante.

Como radio locutor estuvo 2 años en antena junto a su compañero Xikket con el programa semanal “VX Tárraco Electrónica” en Loca Fm Catalunya. Anteriormente también colaboró en Flaix FM.
 
Actualmente combina su faceta como  profesor en el instituto Pere Martell de Tarragona junto a su academia y. nuevo proyecto cultural #tarracotalent,  en así como la realización de diferentes “Masterclass”  junto a diferentes actuaciones por la península y está trabajando junto a sus compañeros Carlos Dominguez & Ethian Guerrero en la gestión de su nuevo sello discográfico “Vidogue Records”. 

Hablar de André Vicenzzo es hablar de pura energía.
