When I improvise on the piano, I remember an old song, i wrote in the 90s. I reconstructed it from memory. Unfortunately, i haven't found an old recording. However. I believe that it corresponds (at least in parts) to the song of that time. Some sounds are also reconstructed (Wavestation, SQ80), others are new (Loom II, Pigments). Enjoy the song

The Frost Of January

My path to music began with the first notes played on the Soviet-made Chaika Piano. Even then, just starting the path, repeating scales and studying classical music, I had an interest in creating my own compositions. It was a turning point for my country, the Soviet Union was collapsing, Russia was like a poorly dressed and hungry child, confusion and fear were read in people's eyes. One of the salvation at this moment for me was music, I spent hours at the piano, playing well-known classical works and trying to compose something of my own in parallel. My baptism in electronic music was participation in the LUNAR ABYSS project, it was noise music. Then I met the students of the Theater Academy on Mokhovaya Street, it was a newly recruited experimental course of students from all over the republic. With them I had a project "DREWOOD KHUN", which means "Tree Man" and lies in the depths of an ancient legend. After that, the project "Hiree" or meaning the bird raven appeared. He also participated in theatrical productions, wrote Soundtrack. In all projects, Buryat folk songs and throat singing were used in one way or another. At the moment, almost none of these projects have been preserved in the materials, as the equipment turned out to be confirmed by damage, especially at times when you don't expect it at all ((. Almost everything that remains will appear here in the near future. Now I have returned back to this path, the path to music, new tracks will appear soon, new reflections. Sincerely yours Ambie.


Hello everyone Just the other day, my account was hacked. At least advertising messages were written from my account. If you have encountered such comments or messages, please forgive me, it was a hack. Also, as a result of this incident, my account was blocked from 22/12/2021 to 27/12/2021. At the moment, my account is partially unblocked, because I do not see my subscribers or those to whom I am subscribed, and I do not yet have the opportunity to support you somehow, whether it's a like or a repost. If any of you have encountered this and can share your experience, I will accept it with gratitude. With respect to you, your Ambie Project.

2025/12/12:
Anybody else prevented from accessing SC servers via VPN?  All of them are blocked for me.  This is the first time it happens to me in six or seven years of almost daily SoundCloud activity.  I use a VPN in SC because when I don't I get horrible delays that show up in many different ways.  The only explanation I have found is that somehow their security/identification system has flagged my IP address and introduced all kinds of speed bumps.  It makes the experience very unpleasant, irritating.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
