AMEKMAR is a DJ and producer from the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam. With a deep passion for music and a particular love for and focus on techno, she is constantly exploring the diverse dimensions of the genre. Her sets and productions are defined by powerful grooves, punchy kicks, hypnotic percussion, compelling melodies, and raw acid lines.

Her love for music began at a young age, starting with cassette tapes and a Discman, which filled her days with sounds from a wide range of genres. This early immersion in music shaped her broad understanding of sound and its limitless possibilities. Starting her musical career at the age of 20, her development and growth caught the attention of venues like BASIS, Radion, Club Vaag, and Razance, and prominent festivals such as Dour, Extrema Outdoor, Verknipt, and Tomorrowland. Her dynamic sets showcase her deep connection to the dancefloor, effortlessly blending raw energy with hypnotic depth.

On the production side, AMEKMAR is gaining recognition with recent releases on labels such as Dusk Records (France) and Everyone On Acid (Netherlands), alongside previous work on Coincidence Records, Courtoisy, and Tabulat. Now, her first solo EP is set to come out in 2025, marking an exciting new chapter in her musical journey.
