Born and raised in New Zealand, REIDTHEROOM has been carving out a name as a boundary-pushing selector with a deep connection to the underground. His journey has taken him from the raw energy of Aotearoa’s local scene, to the beating heart of Berlin’s clubs, and now to Melbourne, where he continues to expand his craft and share his sound.
Drawing influence from his time in Europe’s electronic capital, REIDTHEROOM blends hypnotic rhythms, driving basslines, and atmospheric textures to create sets that are both immersive and unpredictable. His style refuses to be boxed in—moving seamlessly across house, techno, and experimental grooves, always with a focus on energy and flow.
Now based in Australia, REIDTHEROOM is quickly becoming a name to watch in Melbourne’s vibrant nightlife, bringing with him a global perspective and a passion for shaping moments on the dance floor that linger long after the lights come up.
