Huw Costin is a British singer-songwriter known for his emotional vocal style, melancholic lyrics, and a penchant for writing nifty pop songs when the mood takes him. He's worked with both Brian Eno and Mark Lanegan, but mostly, his musical journey has been a ramble around the more obscure reaches of the indie world. Known for his output with leftfield disco artists Smith & Mudd as well as rock bands Manatee, The Kull, and Earth The Californian Love Dream, Costin is currently writing and performing with his band Torn Sail, as well as putting the final touches to his second solo album. 

As influenced by the folk, country, and rock of the 60’s and 70’s as the Nottingham ambient scene of the early nineties, Costin has been compared to the likes of Big Star, Ian Brown, Elbow, and Jeff Buckley. 

His debut solo album - Regrets - found it’s way into the NME Yearbook as a top 10 album despite being unfinished and unreleased. The follow-up is just around the corner.

Hailing from Derby,  George has made a name for himself within the Midlands. and further afield. 
With his debut EP 'Never Stop' on UK heavyweights Solid. Grooves, which reached top 10 in the Beatport release charts back in 2018, and a top 3 tech-house release in 2019 on Domus, word soon spread about George, and his distinct sound.
Taking inspiration from artists such as; DJ Deeon, Paul Johnson, Patrick Topping, DJ Assault and more, George has curated a sound which is unique and extremely effective on the dance floors, pushing the boundaries of tech house, encapsulating elements of techno, trance, warehouse and acid house, supplemented with powerful kicks. 
This has gained the recognition of names such as Joseph Capriati, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi and many more.
In recent time, he has taken his sound to nightclubs across the UK, with regular appearances at Stealth in Nottingham and global party throwers Solid. Grooves, playing at Studio 338, Printworks, E1, The Warehouse Project and XOYO to name but a few.

Grace Bones (aka James Hancock) is a UK producer, DJ, and radio host. He now splits his time between the UK and LA. He has built an impressive catalogue of music across leading house labels including Nervous, Dopewax, Stealth, Cube, Moxy Muzik, King Street, Snatch, Quantize, KMS, Monki & Friends, Garage Paradise, and Plastik People, among many others. Over his career, he has released more than 250 records, earned two gold records, two number ones, and achieved over 25 Top 10 House chart entries to date.

Grace has remixed icons such as Chaka Khan — whose remix earned Grammy consideration for 2025 — as well as Steve “Silk” Hurley and Donell Jones. He has also curated and mixed compilations for D4 Dnce, Nervous, and Moxy Muzik, and currently hosts House of Chic Radio on London’s Select 94.4 FM, reaching an average audience of 50,000 weekly listeners.

Looking ahead, his new artist album is set for release on Moxy Muzik on April 17th, 2026, alongside forthcoming vinyl drops on Plastik People and Moxy Muzik, plus three new EPs on Snatch, Stealth, and Garage Paradise.

Spatial Awareness is a live electronic artist, dj, and producer taking the slightly more oblique path; part unreconstructed indie kid, part soul enthusiast, part techno fiend, and part disco weirdo. This path has seen Spatial Awareness enthralling dancefloors all over the place - from Spain's Benicassim Festival and Razzmatazz Club, to underground warehouse parties in LA, to Motion and the Secret Garden Party and the Ministry of Sound in the UK, and many more inbetween.

2021 saw Spatial Awareness join Anja Schneider's Sous Music label with the EP "The Day That God Went Mad", and also the HE.SHE.THEY. family with two killer remixes of Cosmic Cat's "Keep The Body Dancing". A remix for post-punk indie band Teleforme closed out the year, with a promise of an even bigger 2022.
 
The last few years have been an upward trajectory for the distinctive sound of Spatial Awareness, with music out on Dj Pierre’s Jack Trax, Twirl!, I Love Acid, Get Up Recordings, and the Interzone Music Club imprint (that he co-owns with fellow Southender Pete Dorling). In addition to his warmly received original works, he has also been busy remixing artists such as Hannah Holland, Boy George, Jozef K, Wes Baggaley, Marc Almond, Lil’ Mark, The Woodentops, and more.

Clocking up regular plays on National UK radio, Spatial Awareness has been a guest on the “An Evening With…” slot on Nemone’s Electric Ladyland show on BBC 6Music, soon followed by an invitation to play at the BBC 6Music Festival in Bristol. Summer 2020 saw another dimension added to the world of Spatial Awareness – an increasingly popular radio show on the iconic Street Sounds Radio, that ran until January this year. New radio adventures beckon in 2022 (watch this space...)

Spatial Awareness – or Tony - was blessed with a musically eclectic youth… Raised in the Essex soul music hotspot of Canvey Island with 2 djs for older brothers, and exposed to their various influences of all things soul, funk, hip hop, emerging house, but also indie and classic pop, young Spatial inevitably became a mobile dj by the age of 15 – a baptism of fire around the insalubrious establishments of deepest Essex. A progression to clubs soon followed, as well as a growing urge to make music. Stints playing bass in terrible punk bands lead to an interest in engineering and production and eventually actually creating electronic music.

Acid, disco, techno, and house all blur together sublimely at the edges in the world of Spatial Awareness. His somewhat eclectic tastes encompass a lot of quite disparate things - dub, film soundtracks, electronica, post-punk, motorik rhythms, synthpop, Bowie and Roxy and the Velvets and more besides… Elements of all these seep into the music Spatial Awareness creates and plays.

Born in the summer of 2004, the NUfrequency project is a collaboration between Shield and Cristiano Massera.
Their first single ‘808 (Why Oh Why)’, signed to Little Mountain , has seen the big support from all the top jocks. Pete Tong played it 8 times in his Essential Selection making it an Essential New Tune, and it has been one of the tunes at the Wmc ‘05 . 
In 2007 Shield and Cristiano are back with ‘Love Sick’, featuring the vocals of Plavka, best known for being the singer behind Jam & Spoon. The single released on Rebirth, alongside hot remixes from Cagedbaby and Mock & Toof, followed in 2008 by ‘Go That Deep’ (released by NRK in the UK) featuring the legendary Shara Nelson, with fantastic interpretations by Charles Webster, Redanka, Skylark and Paul Woolford. Heavily supported from the likes of Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Jazzanova, Groove Armada to name a few it has been tipped as the best soulful house tune of the year. In 2009 Shield and Cristiano team up with the amazing Snax for ‘Passage Of Time’, a hook-heavy, explosive and infectious psychedelic song based on pounding drums, Bee Gee's inspired vocal perfection and charming Prince- like seduction. Released on Rebirth in May with mixes from DFA’s Juan MacLean, Freeform Five and Hot Toddy. In 2010 'Fallen Hero' with the fantastic vocals from Ben Onono released with mixes from Motor City Drum Ensemble, Rennie Foster, Mark E and Amillionsons. The song is currently n.1 as most charted record ever on Resident Advisor and supported by the biggest names !
