@hasvat-informant returns to Amniote Editions under his Intellagama alias with the Reciprocate EP. The HbF capsule sees the Naarm (Melbourne) based producer implant a fusion of sonic explorations; tender wandering synths, washes of twitching percussion, layered aerial textures and pulsing rhythms merge together to full visceral effect.

Heliobolus (@spekkiwebu) and @eastern-distributor feature on the remix tip to dizzying effect, with delicate cuts that build into deep, palpitating odysseys.

The HbF capsule will be unleashed in full force on the 23rd Feb alongside a run of limited edition caps with spiral embroidery designed by Copenhagen based design studio Alexis Mark. The caps will be available for purchase via Proton Records, more info to follow.

A fierce introduction to the world of Oomycota, Confluence is the debut long form release presented by Naarm based bluhol (aka Loïcc).

Building upon bluhol’s debut liveset performed at Minutiae Festival, held on Wiradjuri Land in NSW during the new year cycle 23. Confluence represents a conscious shift in the Australian electronica soundscape, drawing deep inspiration from the vast bush land lining the eastern coast and paying homage to the unique nature and phenomenons that exist there.

bluhol, previously producing under Loïcc, is a sound artist based in Naarm, who’s roots are firmly planted in the Northern Tablelands of NSW. They intricately weave together the organic and synthetic, exploring the juxtaposition of nature’s fluidity with the structured rigidity of urban landscapes. With a keen focus on technical sound design and modular synthesis, bluhol crafts immersive auditory experiences that transport listeners into realms both melancholic and unsettling. Their compositions serve as a medium for contemplation, inviting audiences to reflect on the interplay between their past and future selves.

Marking the musical diversity and longevity of Blue Hour's imprint, the Omni V/A series brings together a wide range of artists from the full electronic music spectrum, plunging into a pool of techno, trance, breaks and everything in between.

Approaching nearly 50 releases in vinyl and digital formats, remix series and sub-labels as well as limited edition merch, the imprint has swerved hypes, trends and fads throughout its long-running tenure. Platforming quality productions by artists worldwide, Blue Hour Music has forged a name of its own in a landscape that evolves with mercurial speed.

Like Blue Hour's sound as an artist, it's impossible to classify the label's discography into a single category or genre. The two-part Omni compilations ebb and flow between hazy atmospheres and tougher, live-wire textures, colluding into a multi-coloured trip that encapsulates the lush world of Blue Hour Music.

BCCO Premiere: Spekki Webu - Cycleon [BLUEHOUR10YRSP2]

With Dimensional Descent, Raär develops an EP with a dense environment of complex, subtle crevices, from which he conjures up a procession of patterns with the air of mystical, powerful creatures. Over the course of this 8-track opus, he constructs and stretches a suffocating, dark atmosphere, the mother matrix of a techno sometimes lined with a sulfur-acidified dub, articulated by matt, massive rhythms.
Criss-crossed by ultra-velocity percussion and organic bursts, and pierced by celestial voice-like breakthroughs, Raär's sonic labyrinth is a skilfully orchestrated space-time continuum of pulsations that prevents surrender and allows no salvation. Only trance will be allowed.

"For our second release, circuit|breaker quips back the stacked offering of CBRK001 with another dynamic double LP, exhibiting some of the best local and international talent that’s cropped up on our radar over recent years.

The label is as driven as ever to build a bridge between our community and the wider electronic music domain, giving artists a platform to preach the sound that speaks to them, and this release is but another stepping stone towards greatness, for us and for them.

CBRK002 opens up with a rolling, gritty number that could only be Fergus Sweetland, as metallic voices beckon forth on ‘Untitled (ARP 1.02)’. Hasvat Informant, whose thunderous reputation precedes him, then storms the barn with the explosive ‘Abispa Ephippium’. The B-side shifts gears to Goa’s Dotdat and his frantically groovy track ‘Holo’, followed by a gorgeous minimal number by Berlin-based Pino Peña – Mia’s Pocket; one that’s sure to get summer dancefloors pumping.

The C-side of the record contains two heaving tracks, the C1 from the prominent force of Cloudy Ku with ‘A Room of One’s Own’, and the C2 from the dark visage that is disgrays with ‘Turmstraße’. The final side of the record has Amsterdam legend Juan Sanchez open the filter with a warm, jacking submission in ‘Indulge’, while the Berliner Marsch takes us home with a devious timbre that will have bodies glued to the floor on ‘Into You."

Celebrating the sonic history of the label as part of the anniversary. Artists who have contributed to capsules throughout the five years of the project were invited to dig into the entire back catalog of releases and create their own unique take. The result is a beautifully diverse 12-track compilation that reinvents tracks, spanning from the first capsule that launched the label to the joint fundraiser compilations with Ute Records to the recent collaboration with the Berlin-based collective Mala Junta.
