Such experiences are not so easily purged from the lucid gaze of consciousness. Once burned into the mind’s eye and imprinted into the ear’s discerning flesh, your dreams will forever be haunted with everlasting glimpses of that which lurks behind the light.
Legend has it that an ancient portal to the realm of long-forgotten mythical creatures shall be opened upon the day that this record is played.

MANA001 by Tadan embarks on a mystical journey of psychedelic and healing trance with a modern twist, crafted in reverence to the goddess Hathor and the protector deity Bes. Hathor, a sky deity who represented music, dance, joy, love, sexuality, and maternal care in her benevolence, was a skilled traveler between worlds, known for accompanying souls into the afterlife. Bes, meanwhile, was famed for his prowess in watching after children, killing snakes, and aiding women in labor by fighting off evil spirits.

HgB-17: Various Artists - Refraction of Light (Digital Compilation)

Refraction of Light encompasses a swarm of sonic apparitions from 17 geographically linked artists. The compilation glides through an array of mesmerizing sounds; from slithering trance and crystalline techno to surrealistic DnB and entrancing electronica. A vast collection of moods spanning dawn to dusk.

The HgB capsule emerges on Amniote Editions on 23rd June. The artwork is designed by Camilla Louisa.

Pure Space is thrilled to welcome label boss Andy Garvey for her first EP on the label. 

Across three tracks Andy Garvey masterfully glides through sharp trance and thrilling techno, alongside a restrained yet powerful remix from Berlin via Naarm (Melbourne) producer Different Shades. 

The original, ‘Let’s Go’ is dizzy-ing trance cut that is made for winding up dancefloors at peak time. It has a refined yet reckless energy, with its sharp bassline and ever evolving delayed vocal samples.

Different Shades' remix flips it into deeper and ominous territories. With sharp precision and sleek execution the remix is for side-winding moments in the club.

“Looking for MTH” V/A successively stretches and contracts the passing time, or at least how we perceive it. Lose yourself in the tempo fluctuations and audio glitches, between the slow, entrancing rites of Jan Loup, Israfil and Sabla, the atmospheric dilatations of Isabassi, Marion Castor and Inhmost, or the high-paced, feverish, raging outbursts of Tera Octe, Loïcc and Tadan.

Seoul-based Beyond the Bridge announces the Euclidean Doorway EP by Spekki Webu - the first-ever full solo EP by the Dutch Mirror Zone head honcho. Run by the French artist Pyramid of Knowledge (aka KOP32), the label provides the ideal breeding ground for the Delft-based producer to revisit his tekno roots. The two know each other from the free party era and share a predilection for mental and fast-paced soundscapes. After Australian talent on the rise Kaisei released his Relic EP on the label last year, Spekki Webu opens the next chapter with an inventive interpretation of contemporary tekno and psyche-heavy techno with the Euclidean Doorway EP.

Like a hydraulic machine chamber, the A-side kicks off with the broken beat rhythms of ‘Celtron Lifeform’, gradually evolving into a slow-paced pounding bassline. As time passes, ‘00.4FG (Temple Version)’ drags you into the next phase with accelerating energies and ancient echoing vocals. On the B-side, a full mental mode is entered. ‘Photic Shift’ kicks in and takes over the mind with an introspective occult gathering - making the boundaries of speed and light dissolve. While the ego is detached, ‘Dimension 5’ is reached where reduced rhythms and urgent leading highs steer the trip into a full circle.

Once you’ve entered the Euclidean Doorway, there is no way out.
