Zenon Records series is back w/ Guatemala-born, U.S.-based Krysalis Moon a.k.a. SMOKE SIGN.

Smoke Sign is the main project of 31 year old Portland Oregon based producer Krysalis Moon. Born in Guatemala in 1985, Krys was saved from death when he was adopted & brought to America. From a very early age he was enamoured with music (originally trained as a lead vocalist) & has a rich musical background thanks to his family. His journey with electronic music did not begin until he started organising underground dance events in 2006, but by 2009 he had fallen so deeply in love with dance music that he started on the road of creation. For the next two years Kris poured hours & hours into production, obsessively digging into Cubase until Smoke Sign was born.
Smoke Sign has an eclectic yet specific sound, pulling from both the ancient & modern worlds to weave audible magic. His conjurations are a fusion of many genres and media sources, combining elements of psytrance, house, techno, downtempo, world music & captivating vocals into his signature story telling style.

Very happy to finaly share with you this EP made between 2014 and 2015. I start at that time to work with a slower Bpm, all tracks are at 120Bpm and tune to A 432Hz. I was producing this in the same time than my "Many Ways" Album as a side experimental project . All tracks have been made during each of the seasons represented , sarting from autumn 2014 to summer 2015. After a long journey we finally decided to realese it on our new familly label Sub.Conscience Records. Thanks to Robert Hundt for mastering and Hmapa Art for the nice cover. Hope you will like it

Subconscious was written in the course of the last year between Tel Aviv, Berlin and Melbourne. I’ve been playing music from Pspiralife and HypoGeo (who I’ve worked with in the past on Machinery) for a long time. Triton first appeared on BMSS on our 20th anniversary compilation with a collaboration with the late “Hux Flux” on the track “Look who's talking”. On his debut EP with us this latest signing from Mexico channels the quirkiness of Hux Flux with strangely esoteric sonic dexterity.
