Amptext, the solo project of Gary Rouzer, seeks to investigate the boundary between music/noise, sound/silence, and instrumental technique/gesture using cello, prepared bass, clarinet, cardboard, cassette tapes, amplified objects, record player, and field recordings.

Dúo de música contemporánea de la ciudad de Buenos Aires creado a finales de 2018. Integrado por Selene Erbes en Flauta Traversa y Juan Pedro Torresani en Violoncello, la búsqueda musical del dúo está dada desde la exploración sonora, el diálogo entre los instrumentos y la fusión de sus timbres a través de las posibilidades de la intervención de los mismos, el uso de efectos y amplificación. A partir de composiciones propias buscan desarrollar un lenguaje que los represente e identifique estéticamente, tanto como intérpretes y como compositores. Se han presentado en diversos escenarios y festivales en Argentina, tales como el Festival Internacional de Flautas, FIMM y Atemporánea.

The sensitivity to the folk tunes and inclination for improvisation are the main features of this duo. From their different musical backgrounds comes a music that is always on the road, which runs through the musical traditions of the Mediterranean, the languages and dialects and sewing with impromptu moments of creation, new arrangements and deep interplay.
