AMSEM is a family affair! So it was only natural that Karim Kahar was inspired by Joe Lewandowski to offer a powerful remix of his compatriot's track. From the fields, we go to the club. Here, the dreamy and solar atmosphere of the original track has been replaced by a feverish electro atmosphere. Gone is Joe's long progressive introduction: with Karim, we get into the thick of things right from the start, to the rhythm of this vibrant bass and this hard-hitting kick. The acidic arpeggiati collide with slamming snares that seem to intensify as you listen. An unstable energy that is balanced by the light vocals and the softer-than-silk synth layers.

Aterral is proud to present the latest release from Naajet, one of the most exciting and eclectic DJs on the Parisian music scene. Titled "Are We Dreaming, this new single showcases Naajet's unique blend of House, Soulful, UK Garage and Techno, and is sure to be a hit with music lovers around the world.

Naajet has been a fixture of the Parisian music scene for over 6 years, and is also a cofounder of the women collective Bande de Filles. Her sets are known for their infectious energy, eclectic mix of genres, and ability to bring any audience into her universe.

Attitudes To Life Records founders and Shade Not Fade, FourThirtyTwo and Unsound Mind artists Matrefakt first met Lewy at a gig in Liverpool in 2019. They all hail from the North West, so soon backed up a promise to get in the studio together, and magic has happened ever since. The fruits of those sessions are ready to go, starting with this first EP, which showcases their high-impact house sound in all its glory. Sarah Story has already been hammering the title track on Radio 1, with Yousef, Anja Schneider and Elisa Bee also supporting it.

Opener 'Summer Breeze' is a rollicking house cut with its chest puffed out. The muscular drums and bass bring subtle funk while rolling snares, neat melodic patterns and edgy stabs add the all-important detail. After that functional but stylish opener comes the more expressive 'M58' (the title of which is a nod to the motorway that connects Lewy's Wigan with Matrefakt's Liverpool). It's turbo-changed house once more, but this time with flashes of diva vocals and a sprinkling of synths that bring a more party-starting vibe. This trio of top cuts completes with 'Midnight Marmalade' - the robust drums and the oversized bassline is cut up with raw synth licks and slapping hits that bring peak time energy to the dance floor.

The ‘Summer Breeze’ EP is out on Attitudes to Life Records on the 28th of April.
