Finding ground in Ghent, a small yet creative and lively town in Belgium, Moodfamily runs a record label and booking agency. Having emerged in 2014, it has sprouted from existing friendships and a mutual understanding and appreciation of electronic music. We represent artists pursuing their own unique sound, be it within their own tracks, visual productions or DJ-sets. 

Most important, the Moodfamily is telling you their story. The fruits of a long and devoted journey. We aim to reach people with our dedication to evoke a certain feeling. A particular mood.

Stefan Ringer is a producer and DJ hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Since he started out releasing music under the moniker REKchampa in 2010, he has garnered attention with his unique take on house, techno and everything in between. Four years later, Stefan released on legendary house label NDATL, and is a frequent collaborator with label head Kai Alcé. Stefan has a myriad of other releases and credits on various labels and has also started his own imprint, FWM Entertainment, which is home to his most recent works. Stefan has been an influential force in Atlanta’s dance community, and holds a residency at the Sound Table with Ash Lauryn. In addition he curates and produces a monthly party called Kudzu which has become an underground dance music destination in the southeastern region of the US. Through his DJ sets, productions and contributions to the culture; Stefan is building a legacy.

Dunk Murphy records and performs as Sunken Foal, Minced Oath, Press Charges and as a member of Ambulance and The Natural History Museum. He started performing live electronics as half of Ambulance at different club nights around Dublin City in the late 90's playing alongside a who's who list of IDM luminaries. He has had releases on the seminal Planet-Mu, Black Acre, Acroplane, Front End Synthetics, D1, The Fear and Countersunk.org. Championed by BBC1/XFM DJ Mary Anne Hobbs, Today FM’s Donal Dineen, Lyric FM’s John Kelly and the late John Peel, Dunk’s music covers a large area showcasing his deep knowledge of synthesis, software processes, composition and traditional instrumentation. He often employs algorithmic / generative systems with melody & rhythm resulting in a cascading, kinetic energy in his music. Dunk has performed on many international stages and has collaborated, arranging instrumentation for songwriters Glen Hansard, David Kitt and Carol Keogh. He currently runs the Countersunk label www.countersunk.org
