Driven by a passion for discovering music; deacon has built a formidable collection spanning from downtempo through psychedelic techno to a deep progressive all containing a homogeneous groovy energy and impeccable sound design. Currently signed to @techgnosisrecords, he carefully selects tracks to create an eccentric narrative tailored to each event and lineup with one purpose: to introduce new sounds that bridge division and bring connection through sound and movement.

Driven foremost by a passion for discovering new music; Matthew Deacon has built a treasure chest of audible gold and has been sharing these gems with dancefloors for over a decade now.

A varying palate for sound led to the discovery of psychedelic techno in 2017 and prompted a rebrand under his namesake with a more focused sound. Hooked by the layers, depth, vast variety of sounds and intrinsic musical nature the genre presented led to the emergence of the soundscape we know as Deacon.

As time progressed he started discovering more music, artists and labels representing these similar characteristics; at a higher tempo there was deep/dark progressive, a lighter side of Zenonesque, and slowing things down with a reinterpretation of downtempo, akin to pitched down techno. And whilst these can be considered three distinct genres, they all hold a similar energy; with deep basslines, organic elements and impeccable production, and Deacon enjoys navigating between them. Carefully selecting tracks to create an eccentric narrative tailored to the event and lineup with one purpose: to bridge division and bring connection through sound and movement.

Alaska aka Lask - AU-born live act & producer with a childhood spent around Australia’s bush doof scene. Getting in to producing on hardware from the age of 14. Her sound is defined by psychedelic, tekki, and retro-futuristic sound design.

Jeff Koz aka “KOZY”  is a Montreal-based DJ, producer, and creative entrepreneur shaping the global underground electronic music landscape. Known for his hypnotic blend of psytech, dark minimal, and progressive techno, KOZY has become a driving force behind the distinctive “AlpaKa sound” that’s spreading across dancefloors worldwide.

As the founder of AlpaKa MuziK—a multifaceted imprint spanning a record label, booking agency, merch brand, and event-production arm—Jeff has built a thriving international ecosystem that champions forward-thinking psychedelic techno. Under his direction, AlpaKa MuziK has released 800+ tracks from a roster of almost 300 cutting-edge artists to date, curated major compilations, and grown into one of the most respected voices in the genre’s evolution. 

KOZY’s DJ sets are deep, driving, and meticulously constructed—an alchemical mix of hypnotic grooves, high-energy basslines, and cerebral psychedelia. His performances have taken him across North & South America, Europe, Oceania, South Africa and beyond, playing clubs, outdoor stages, and festivals while representing the label’s signature aesthetic: immersive, raw, and unapologetically underground.
