To celebrate the release of director Quentin Tarantino's 8th film, Hateful Eight, Rza presents “Hands of God," the commemorative version.    This special song serves as a remix to Younge’s Hands of God, the original to be released on Younge’s upcoming Something About April II, January 21.   Hands of God synthesizes the audiovisual style of the legendary Ennio Morricone (Hateful Eight composer) with the rugged and raw musical aesthetics created by Wu tang founder Rza. Alongside the abbot, two of Younge’s favorite vocalist are also featured: Karolina and Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab).    

On behalf of Rza and Linear labs, we would like to congratulate Quentin on another extraordinary motion picture creation.Please enjoy this remix and support Hateful 8, in theaters.  Shot on 70 mm film, the special roadshow engagement pays homage to the grand and long forgotten exhibitions of yesteryear.

Review: While the resurgent Vibraphone may be known for its silky smooth deep house confections, the Italian label also has other interests guiding its musical policy. The seemingly unknown KNLB steps up to prove this on Initialize by serving up a rich and engrossing broth of tracks loaded with depth and detail. "Second Wind" takes on a slow breakbeat trip with lingering piano sprinkled on top, while "Apollo" comes on like a warm and energised twist on dub techno motion. "Initialize" heads for a more introverted kind of house, which Minimono then infect with a bouncy energy on their remix.

After the success of their first release, DSC – Far Reaching/Too Hard, Holding Hands is back with their sophomore outing and as before it is taking no prisoners.

Inspired by a Nicolas Lutz set as he warmed up Fabric for Villalobos a couple years back, the Furnace has a break beat that will push the subs of any club to the limit. With every build and drop it increases in momentum until you are left with no choice but to throw down on the dance floor with unbridled passion. The Furnace may be all about the big beat but it is no one trick pony. The tune has a depth and weirdness to it that will certainly keep you coming back for more…

The Sorcerer is a collaboration with good friend of DSC’s, Guava. It is made up largely of recorded percussion and vocals at DSC’s studio in South London, which gives it a very special swing on the dance floor. The track lulls you into a false sense of security for the first third before finally letting the big freakiness out of the box. This is one for any DJ that wants to leave clubbers going nuts and scratching their heads at the same time.

Both tracks are produced and sculpted for the club. They want big sound systems and dark rooms.

We asked close friends and long time idols to play their part to the full to complete the third edition of the label’s Family Horror compilation series. The outcome is a clear snapshot of the musical inclinations of the three label founders, Sevensol & Map.ache (aka Manamana) and Bender, encapsulating an idiosyncratic, modern house sound that demands an emotional response. 
The compilation comes rounded off by a booklet of photographs from Ria aka Lux which just like the music captures some of the beautiful ‘Good Times’ from this very special period, this time on paper.

Family Unit based out of Berlin is a House &amp; Techno collective with an uber-talented line-up of Sense of Sun, Sauna, Jago K, Rosa Luxemburg, Katy De Jesus and Analog Advisory favorite, Justin Ramsey. Family Unit expands into the Record Label space with their debut release from their resident producer &amp; DJ, Sauna. Sauna’s ‘Unification’ EP features 4 house cuts on wax of different varieties from romantic ‘Unification’ to deep and dub-y numbers on tracks like ‘Ancestor’ and ‘Predecessor’. Minimal track, ‘Relative’, comprises of subsurface basslines, ricocheting drumwork and spacey bleeps and bloops that sound like an android strolling down a summer night’s walk. Taut rhythms and a conniving chord progression gives the tune a dusky vibe for those late night sessions.

Slated for November 1st 2018 on Vinyl and Digital (Bandcamp &amp; Streaming).

Night Noise is ending 2018 strong with an EP from Berlin/Barcelona based duo 'Señora'. The EP 'Ritimo Casablanca' feature two original tracks showcasing their eclectic production style. Also featured on this release are remixes from 'Tulioxi' and 'James Rod', two of the labels favorite producers. The second track on the release 'Ugüaje Te-tengo' is a disco inspired house track with groovy guitar licks, funky bassline and distorted vocal loop sample that persist through the entire track. Listening to this track makes you feel like you watching a Quenton Tarantino movie. The EP will be available soon on Night Noise's Bandcamp.

New Zealand producer 'Keanu Raves' debuts on new house and techno artist collective and radio show 'Club Unique's' freshman release 'Never Change'. 'Believe in me', is an atmospheric deep lo-fi house track that is percussive driven. Blending four to the floor drum patterns with Afro hand percussion rhythms plays well against the synthetic riffs and dissonant chords making it the perfect opening track for a deep and hazy DJ set.
