Jakub Fidos, AKA @Subjoi, has meticulously honed his music over the last four years, crafting sounds that elevate the club-centered, four-on-the-floor schema to more ethereal heights. On any given track, his production traverses Garage-inspired breaks, sub-shattering Chicago basslines and glittering vocal hits. But regardless of motif, what truly defines Subjoi’s music is its impact--even the gentlest of tracks come knocking heartily on both mind and body.

His latest offering, In Absentia, is a timely reminder that house music is above all else supposed to move us. “High Street,” “Without You” and “I Say” offer up three unique yet complementary vignettes of contemplative house without sacrificing any of the dancefloor-ready pulse. Moskalus Records is back and proud to share its latest release by Brazilian producers Jack District and Marc-lo. The Papaya Sorbet EP is a juicy joint project of completely smoothed out, lush-as-you-like house music that brings to mind languid days lounging under the canopy of a great jungle city, the sky clear and the air fresh. Looping synth patterns offer a heady pulse throughout the 4 tracks atop always tight and jacking percussion, crisp in character and lean in action. If you’re worried how to dance, if you can dance, if you should dance - pop this new pack of tracks into your system and you’ll be right in the move and groove, thinking to yourself - “It’s So Easy!”

Anyone who is a clubber in the South of Brazil, has probably danced to the sound of these two names: Jack District and Marc-lo.

Marc-lo paraded his musical style several times in the cabin of Terraza, a prestigious club with a great history of memorable nights, and of TROOP, collective in which he became a resident in 2016, since then maintaining a constant presence in the events of the label, playing alongside names like Moodymann, Tom Trago, Fred P., Ryan Elliot, tINI and other great artists.

On the other side is Jack District, DJ, audio engineer, music producer, but above all a real lover of House Music. In addition to passing through prestigious clubs in Brazil, he brings in his studio work what is most fresh to dialogue naturally between different styles.

If individually the two already have a very interesting history, together they have done a lot of cool stuff. At the end of last year they released the EP South Wind through Manuscript Records, from Ukraine, they also scored a song on Warung Recordings' newest VA, Solitude and recently released a EP on Brazilian label Radiola Records.
