The overall sound can be described as timeless uncompromising electronics, acid braindance at its finest, an exquisite piece of intrincate electronica…blah blah blah... we prefer to call it: the guiding light. Next up! Second chapter in the AF Voiceless series. The label run by Pervert keeps on broadening its own catalogue by adding artists committed to the electronic cause. This EP is a 5-track new voyage through analogue-crafted soundscapes, acid-injected breaks, thudding bass lines, warm and intricate melodies… the sheerest voice for the voiceless. AF005Y introduces new members to the family as Houston-based Daed (Ian Lambert), who displays his ability to create a perfect acid-glitched blast called ‘Pulse Lunar’. Thus, ‘Smiley moon’ is above all a glimpse into the analogue world of the well-known Rolando Simmons, proving himself he's one of the brightest electronic artists of the moment. Sheffield based Dave Forrester (TechDiff) twists the modular in ‘Jamuary’ with a killer Aphexian/Jenkinson temper. Longing raving days are depicted in ‘Quest’ with an evocative electro halo by the hand of the Irish producer Cignol. Last but not least, ’Smoke’, a junglist, acid, and braindance orgy signed by Gareth Clarke, known for his previous works on Canada’s Sublight Records (Venetian Snares, Bill Laswell) and LoveLove Records.

[AF006] SHINRA 'METEOR EP' [2017]

Hell yes! Dutch maestro Reimer Eising returns with a new lesson in high class braindance electronica for Analogical Force. Just one year on from the inspiring ‘Wingtip’ album on Clone Records and many (like us) have been looking forward to his new stuff, now the wait is over. 

‘Alacasa’, the result of months of work, sees Reimer delving into his unique world of delicate drum patterns, kaleidoscopic synths, 4/4 beats and breaks, acid-tinged melodies, ghostly pads…blah blah blah… Kettel has presented us with all of these things before but never with such immaculate care and attention to detail, production and pacing. He has never sounded better and fresher than this.

The EP includes a dreamy and evocative remix from Swedish hero Rolando Simmons, pure bliss to get lost in.  No more words are needed, you know what to do.

DJ since 1990, beginning with Hip Hop, Acid House, UK Bleep, Breakbeat and Techno, a residency throughout the mid to late 90's on infamous London sound system "JIBA", manager and music buyer for 2 record shops Trackheads & Dragon Discs in Camden, London, (1997-2004) during which time an international DJ schedule opened out, Jerome is a permanent fixture on the London scene and also DJs week in week out around the globe, living and breathing the music, his sets veering playfully between educational and hedonistic!

Founder of Don't Recordings (which celebrates it's 16th birthday this year) & Fat Hop records (for fans of Old Skool Hip Hop/B-Boy Breaks) , and more recently two new labels; the booming acid house of "Super Rhythm Trax" and the1992 rave themed "Hornsey Hardcore"
His bi-monthly 'Don't' club night in Dalston is entering it's 4th year and has built a strong following amongst true Techno lovers, with Jerome as its resident and amazing and well respected guests passing through every time.
