Simple Sunday jam using the Beatstep Pro to sequence everything and recorded into Live 9. A little bit of compression and limiting on the master buss to tame the audio spikes. Drums (MI Peaks and Ladik There is a clip of this jam on  youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qhw09NpjnAYD-333 being dirtied up by the MA DTM) and lead line (Doepfer A-110-2 + MI Ripples) from little the modular. White noise perc sequence from the M32. Squelchy bass stuff from the Erebus over midi. Also using the Erebus delay to create feedback FX bursts which I fade in and out by hand. Reverb is from the Zoom 70CDR on the FX buss of the Mackie.

I am a sound and visual artist from Australia and was a founding member of electronic band This Crepuscular Hour (TCH). I now perform as Let X=Y and am a member of Aussie Wigglers modular synth FB group. I studied at the Elder Conservatorium, School of Electronic Music (Adelaide) and was tutored there by Tristram Cary (one of the designers of the EMS/Synthi machines). My day job is graphic design.
