Nevada City Ecstatic Dance 1.27.2026

This set was recorded on a Mayan calendar day called 13 B’en, a day symbolizing completion, leadership, and the “pillar” that connects home, earth, and sky. It’s traditionally associated with standing tall, honoring your roots, and stepping into your full expression.

The day also marks the start of the Chinese New Year shift from Snake to Fire Horse. A moment symbolizing roots igniting into motion, lineage turning into fire.

We danced on the beautiful dance floor at the Maltiox Healing Arts Center in Lake Atitlan, Tzununa, Guatemala. The volcano Fuego was popping off against the night sky as we danced. What an honor! Gracias para todo!
