Before you can remember anything you are about to say to me I will tell you it's time for a second round! Why even bother searching for questions if ANCIENT FUTURE already has the answers to them? Delivered again in the form of four tracks by four different artists, this is number two!

Is there a difference between eternity and nothingness? ALMA & MATER trace that disparity on first track "Forever Never", and could not be more haunting in the way they do it. Their search is fueled by raw 808 power and inducing saw-tooth synths, so you better watch for your shoes, for you could've already lost'em dancing too hard. Next track "Time Zone Adjustment" makes it all too easy for you to just keep on going, manufactured by the 106ERs, a tag team of future bois Philipp Fein & Johannes Klingebiel. As you probably will have already lost your sense of time, readjustments of your local time zone won't bother you anyway... Flip to the f-side and RHYTCH will take you to another place, although his "Lenoir" might not exactly be what they call reality. It's way too enigmatic for that, all you see is flickering lights and some weird machinery - but exciting, that's what it is! Find your way through the fog and enter the realms of "Okuruwo", reigned by the impeccable DREEMS & MAX SCHMITT. With a little help from their friend JOHANNES KLINGEBIEL they created this world of wonder, of jungles and oceans, of plains and deserts. There is more to find in here than you could possibly search for. But you will have all the time in the world.

On April 19th, DJs for Climate Action (DJS4CA) present the second annual EARTH NIGHT; an initiative harnessing the energy of the global nightlife scene to raise awareness and funds for climate action.  Taking place in the week leading up to Earth Day, the team will release an impressive music compilation and sponsor parties in Brooklyn and beyond to shine light on the challenge facing our planet and the unique role musicians can play.  

This year DJS4CA launch EARTH NIGHT RECORDS with a compilation that gathers new music from over 50 artists from 12 countries including Simon Meija (Bomba Estereo), Infinity Ink, Nicola Cruz, Little Boots, and many others. It will become available for pre-order exclusively through Bandcamp starting March 11th, and tracks will drop every week leading up to the full release on 4/19.

Proceeds from all EARTH NIGHT activities will fund projects focused on effective climate action through direct partnerships. This includes work at the nexus of renewable energy, health and education with Little Sun, boosting the global climate youth movement with Earth Guardians, and offsetting the impact of DJ air travel with CO2 Logic.

Zoe Reijue is a musician and DJ from Moscow, Russia. Formerly a composer
with an acoustic piano direction, she produces electronic music since
2020. On this track, she also sang her own vocals and we were absolutely
in love with it when she send it to us.

We thought that it's a great track to build an EP around, which takes
the track in different directions. This remix comes from Jiony from
Mexico, he will be joined by Thommie G from the Netherlands, Daniel
Verhagen from Australia, and Klangdruide from Switzerland. All
interpreting Zoe's track in their own way.

As always 50% of the profit from this release is donated to our social
partner @love-foundation and the other 50% are divided equally between
Hug Records and the artists.
