This is what I have come up with using a file with compiled sounds from Miles a.k.a. https://soundcloud.com/strange-meat .

I have chopped the file into pieces and then put each and everyone of the sound bits into the free VST-synth "Alchemy Player", tweeked and played around with them to create a soundscape, adding some instrumental lines and a couple of field recordings from this summer.....

I hope you all will like the journey through the sound of dreams....

The original idea was to make a song about the research fascility MAX IV Laboratory that is about to be built in Lund, Sweden.
Somehow I thought about Zefram Cochrane, who is the imaginary scientist in the Star Trek universe inventing the Warp-engine that can produce enough energy to drive a ship into space in more than the speed of light.....hence the title...
The hope for the future is to know how to get energy out of water by cold fusion....To use the energy within the atoms without making an explosion.... That could be the beginning of a new era in human history...No need for fossil fuel....or atomic energy....no energy polution...limitless energy....

History shows that every invention of man kind can be used to do good (better living standard, health, peace) AND evil (weapons, war....)

The future is in our grasp and we have a choice.... a hope.... that we can trust our fellow human beings to use the knowledge for GOOD purposes....

Well.... This is a message of hope and trust....and a view into the future, based on the knowledge of the past!

About the track title:
One of the earliest mentions of an incubus comes from Mesopotamia on the Sumerian King List, ca. 2400 BC, where the hero Gilgamesh's father is listed as Lilu. It is said that Lilu disturbs and seduces women in their sleep, while Lilitu, a female demon, appears to men in their erotic dreams.

There are a number of variations on the incubus theme around the world.

Mara was believed to be a dark spirit that takes the form of a beautiful woman and then visits men in their dreams, torturing them with desire, and dragging life out of them. Rides on people's chests while they sleep, bringing on bad dreams - Night-Mares.

I believe this is how folklore and superstition explained children outside wedlock and deformed children being born and sometimes mental illness and shameful erotic dreams....

I don't know why this track got the title....Maybe Sigmund Freud could answer that if he was still around.....
