This artist tribute is dedicated to POWEL, a Berlin-based DJ and producer renowned for his exceptional musicality.

With his signature beats, intricate percussion, and bewitching soundscapes, his remixes and productions take listeners on a journey to the very depths of auditory pleasure.

Let's dance disco angels! Lighting up your Tuesday with an incredible set by Budakid & Matthias Meyer. We thoroughly enjoyed having this dynamic duo finish the night super strong and making our 2022 year end in such a dreamy way. They joined our Babylonian Nightsky Celebration in Amsterdam and played this stunning set at the Star Stage. The night closed out with lots of dancing underneath the glow of the planets with disco mirror performers hypnotizing us. What a night to remember!

Richard’s world oscillates somewhere between music and science. With a classical music education, he comes from Northern Ireland where he was heavily influenced by the iconic electronic music collective Shine in Belfast. 

He also lived in Liverpool with its rich and diverse musical culture for 10 years where he studied Music Technology. In music, Richard’s influences range from across the electronic music spectrum and he loves melody within music, seeking to combine his music theory, practical education, and real-world experiences into the electronic form. 

Richard has a deep fascination with the cosmos and the concept of life elsewhere in the universe, how humans relate to each other, and our place together within space and time
