After successfully participating in a PXD Musicsoftware competition, I gained my first experiences with composing and arranging electronic music in the late 90s. But then I concentrated on playing the bass in various bands from different musical genres. At the same time, I started my electronic-metal-solo-project BLUTWURST BREATH (1999 - 2010), which was featured on numerous samplers (https://blutwurstbreath.bandcamp.com). In 2011 it was succeeded by the new, more focused electronic-grindcore-project TUNNELBOHRER (https://tunnelbohrer.bandcamp.com), which is still active today. In autumn 2021, my bands, in which I had been working as a bassist since 2006, unfortunately broke up. This was the occasion to revive my old passion for electronic music: KASTROPODUX was born. KASTROPODUX is devoted to the synthwave-sound of the 80s and the techno-style of the early 90s, sometimes combined with rock-guitars.

Started as a DJ in the mid 80`s with Chicago House. After a long period of playing set`s and less space for keeping the vinyl i decided to make my own music using FL Studio Producer all plug-in edition as DAW. Nectar Impact, Arturia Keylab Essential for DAW, Ensoniq ASR10 for sampling, Hercules DJ Inpulse 500 MK2 and DJuced for mixing the set`s

As an artist my influences are the world around me.  As the world changes so will my art.  I like to dabble in rock with heavy guitars, acoustic, and electronic music.  I also enjoy the music of every artist out there that gets up and goes to their day job only to hurry home and spend endless hours creating their passion.. stay well my friends drop a line, check in and just say hi…I will do everything in my power to respond.

I am retired and have taken up music again (after 60 years since I last played the classical piano)for my pleasure. It is great to redo the old classics with the modern sounds and electronic instruments of today. I

Presonus studio 4 software, a size midi keyboard and the Kross workstation Keyboard.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
