Powernerd is the alter ego of a viennese producer, focusing on retrofuturistic music with a modern edge.
He prefers to stay anonymous to let the music speak for itself.
The first release of Powernerd was 2016's Nerd Power and since then he has collaborated with many well known artists like Waveshaper,  Neon Nox, Volkor X, LeBrock, Dana Jean Phoenix, Absolute Valentine, Edictum, Call Me Sleeper, MAGNAVOLT, Adieu Aru and others.

While starting in 2016 with classic Synthwave like Dystopia or lending his guitar skills to tracks like Twisted Getaway, Powernerd has shifted his focus towards heavier, midtempo and cyberpunk inspired music like Dark Triads.

Releasing on Aim To Head Records and Lazerdiscs Records.

"NIGHT.WAV" A Synthwave Party is the first Synthwave/Darksynth/Retrowave Party in New York where we play music by some of the best artist in the genre. This page is to post the Dj mixes from the event every month and sick mixes by the Dj's. This is music inspired by 80s horror and action movie soundtracks. For fans of the movie Drive, Kung Fury, Stranger Things, John Carpenter, Hotline Miami and all things larger than life and as cool as can be. The party happens once a month at the famous Heavy Metal Venue/Bar Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY

Also we have "SAN JUNIPERO - A Retrowave Party" which is an all RETROWAVE music dance party showcasing the best tracks from the coolest Retrowave producers around.

Both parties are thrown in New York and Los Angeles
