Richard Easel has been setting his modular system up for couples of years. Each module does not only represent the treasure hunt of finding mechanisms whose production might be discontinued nowadays, but also the deep reflection of the precise sound and characters Richard searches to have available on his instrument. 

The artist masters the varieties and opportunities each module allows him and through the patching of multiple modules he creates unique soundscapes that exist in reality only through his manipulation. 

Proposing an hypnotic techno music journey we have been carried through the technicality and variety of the deepest synths, the fluid bass lines and the unexpected turns that kept a remarcable drive on this live set.

The Berlin-based Synth enthusiast spends countless hours playing his compact, hybrid modular system - whether it be behind the booth, at home or the outdoors. His exploration of late 90s and early 2000s techno, movie scores, trance, electro, and jazz, combined with a passion for sound design, make Opitz's music dynamic, versatile, and pure with a raw touch. 21. June I got the chance to play a Set at Live Station, AVA's first time floor for live electronic music. I integrated Ableton Push Standalone and one of my first used hardware synths the Digitone MK1. This gave the set more structure then previously freely improvised sets I guess. Right now im on my way to find a balance between defined, replay able structures and free improvisation. Edit: My clocking got of towards then end. Happy i got it back working after a shirt stop/ start my Push.

Thank you all so much for this wild, fun and emotional ride from Hardgroove and Techno via Garage all the way to Cher. All of us together, singing along out loud to "Believe" is my absolute goose bump moment of 2025.
