The woman speaking is my mom, it is the true story of her and her Father reconciling after years of estrangement. Her name is Amparo, and Soy means I am.

"You Ok? Should I continue? Well I wasn't meaning to start the whole story, cause that's a beginning. But my sister, my om, Luz Dady was her name, or is her name."

So she told me, "Amparo mi Padrino, my godfather is in the hospital, he's in a coma, you need to go see him."
I said "no he's mad at me, I hurt him, he hate me."
She's like "no, you need to go because all he is doing is calling your name."
And I was like "Marena is there, how can I go there, she's not going to let me go there."
And she said "I don't know, you need to find a way how to go there."

So I went. And I was very scared, I was hoping Marena wasn't there or anybody. I asked the Nun, the nun asked me "can I help you?"
And I said "yeah, om, I'm his daughter"
And "who are you?"
I said "Amparo."

And I think she embraced me, and she told me "come and see him it's ok, nobody's here. All he's doing is calling your name."
So I went to see, I got close to his bed, and I said...
I was scared and I was like...

And she was like "it's ok, talk to him, he can hear you, tell him that you're Amparo.

And I said "Papa, Dad, Soy Amparo" (I am Amparo)

"Soy Amparo"
And I have his hand over his (my) hand, and he squeezed my hand, and he opened one eye, and he got tears, of course I was crying too.

I said "Papa, forgive me"

and he's like
"Amparo"

"Amparo"
