STELSI is a Ukrainian electronic dance music group, founded in 1999. The band have been credited as one of the first electronic music acts in Ukraine, with fusion of styles that quickly grew into mainstream popularity. Band`s sound developed rapidly from big-beat, techno\house & other club-oriented genres up to more live performance oriented synth-pop\alternative-pop, finally incorporating ethnic\folk elements which resulted in a unique style fusion called "electro-folk" by critics and press. The band`s music can be frequently heard in commercials, radio & TV shows, presentations, sport events and other popular media throughout Ukraine.

After launching in 2018 Diesel Recordings has quickly become one of the leading labels in the Breaks scene. A long time ago I was 
Introduced the world of music.

I was not yet fully aware of what exactly it was all about.
I got to know many different genres and therefore many different people.
One day I went to my first psytrance party and from then on I knew that I wanted to be involved in this scene forever.

Since I don't wish to commit myself to any one particular genre, you will hear many different projects from me in the future, sounds which reflect my current feelings and my past experiences.

 It will all be there!

So take your time, lean back and enjoy the sounds of the mirror world.

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.

About Gareth:
Digital creative type, gamer, music lover and occasional DJ. Currently living between Dubai & Seoul after setting sail from Sunderland in 2010. As a young designer, club and music culture was the driving force for his work, producing artwork for local club nights and record labels in the North East of England.
