Description: I took a 1:24 clip of a practice session, isolated it, then laid it on top of itself 11 times, staggering each start by 0.2 seconds each time. The result is an interesting shift in the timing and rhythmic structure, as it shifts in and out of time. Reminiscent of Steve Reich's Drumming.

Recorded on a Sonor AQX Jazz kit (12, 14, 18 kick), with a Yamaha Recording Custom 10" tom and a Yamaha Birch Custom 8" tom. Snare is part of the AQX kit. Mics are Shure PGA drum spec, with a Shure SM-57 snare mic. Soundcraft 16 channel mixer into a Denon 300 SD recorder. Mix compiled in Audacity software for Mac.
