Back in Nottingham in the noughties I was knocking about with a young band call The Henry Road. Those guys had very eclectic tastes and  introduced me to the band Love. I was completely into the blend of flickering strings, rocking rhythm section and the sexual,  lyrical playfulness of Arthur Lee.

That's how this song started out, fleshed out by a fantasy I had a few years back. Add the mighty inventiveness of the Flying Orchestra and you've got a right tune on your hands.

Wrote this song in the back of the old Giants van Cheryl one summer a few years back. Tried it out with the giants as a reggae tune but t never caught on with the boys. Despit this i love it and so was one of the first tracks |I went to arrange with the Flying Orchestra. 
Spent a long time producing this with Rokko, trying out synth delays and credit to him for playing the hammond organ in the outro.

A big tune about being in love with someone who's mad as a box of pigs

For me this is the best production I've been involved in and I do think its a banging tune full of passion. this is the best thing we did in the Flying Orchestra and when we play it live and those strings rip out those double stops it makes my heart boooom.
I wrote this one in my head whilst walking around Glastonbury Festival one day on my own cause Id lost everyone and my phone was dead.
I started to imagine what i would play if I was on one of the big stages with the big sound systems and this tune hit my mind

wrote this tune on an overnight bus journey through Goa and was the first tune I arranged with the flying orchestra and was the major reason why I was so keen on getting strings in the band.
We recorded this in Kris' bedroom one player at a time. Never quite got round to recording organic drums which is a shame but you can hear ted smashing a midi kit as hard as he can
