A Heavy dose of FUNK & HIP HOP. It should be noted I came home from work one day when I was staying in Chicago and a producer I really enjoyed it at the time had just released a new track and that inspired this whole mix I recorded it one take And I really didn't know how to mix at the time if you listen that's obvious but I had an ear and could kind of make some of it work so it's not unbearable however anybody with real skill can hear the parts that are a little off and they can also hear that I hadn't started using the sync button. I still love the setlist to this day if I were to play out I'd probably grab a few of these tracks thanks for listening

Initially I didn't release it with intentions of starting from the top and re recording until I finally got everything perfect. I like to show people songs that make me feel good.  I got my first mixing controller when I was 13 (11 years ago) I had told my mom I wanted turn tables so I could scratch like Marshall goodman from sublime and Mr Hans from Linkin Park. She couldn't afford real vinyl setup so she got me a little Digital mixman 2 controller for mixing loops and ofcourse scratching. Over the years I had listened to a little bit of electronic music, but hip hop beats were really what I was into. Always thinking maybe I'll find a decent rapper someday and just spin beats for em. In 2012 I went to the most influential live set of music I've ever experienced. Pretty Lights @ Summer Camp music festival.  I've been spinning a variety of FUNK, Hip Hop, Glitch Hop ,and Electronica ever since.  My live sets have really progressed in the last year with a lot of effort put into Hot cue remixing. I still suck at scratching lol but I'm really happy it inspired me all those years ago. Thanks for listening.
