Biography:
Andrew Lee Farquhar is a composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist artist, living in England. 

He is known as a highly creative piano artist with a distinct flair in the Neoclassical & High Classical genre. 

Farquhar’s music has a distinct compositional style and is deeply melodic, evoking a vibration of uplifting melancholy. 

He takes the listener into a world of its own. The soft, muted sound of the piano mixes with the noises of the hammers and subtle creakings. Some of his released music evokes a sense of early childhood days or long-forgotten times, at the same time sad and nostalgic joy.

In 2022, he released his debut solo album ‘From My Lighthouse’ following the release of various instrumental solo piano singles.

He is at one with the piano which brings him closer to his compositional ideas. The instrument enables his creative flair to be realised and expressed. Yet still further he composes elegant and euphoric string orchestral pieces which have been described as utterly cinematic as referenced in his 2021 release ‘Birds of Ancient Skies’ which was well received.

There is potential for more to come from this artist who is continuing to grow his Worldwide audience on Social media.
